Thank you so much for sharing these tips Aimee! I struggle with anxiety and it was really bad recently. I actually took a week of annual leave and just got outside every day for a walk, one day to the beach, one day to a forest, one day to a canal walk etc. I found that this helped me so much - a change of scenery from my house, being out in nature and the fresh air helped me to get out of my head and feel calm. Congratulations on how far you have come on your journey with depression.

I have struggled with depression for most of my adult life. Things that have really helped me personally are: I talked to myself and treat myself like I am someone I love and care about. I acknowledge, assess, and then eliminate people, activities, thoughts, and feelings that don’t help me evolve/grow (these are those toxic things that kept me anchored in depression). I find systems that help me reduce the brain clutter/feeling overwhelmed(setting alarms, making lunch the night before, keeping a planner/written schedule or to do lists, stacking tasks/habits such as reading and while enjoying a face mask or walking on the treadmill and watching RU-vid. I set SMART goals. I let go of things I can’t control. I own my emotions and put a voice to what my needs are. I agree that depression is something that comes back around in life and we have to attempt to be confident in the tools we have learned along the way of how to cope with the waves of stress and pain that will come with putting ourselves out there. Love your channel and your positive messages. Thank you for being brave and sharing your life, emotions, struggles, and triumphs with us. ❤️

I knew I couldn't quit my job so I self sabotaged and got myself fired. Really easy in that extemely toxic work environmont. I started to need to take anxiety meds just to be able to get to work and make it through the day. I get 0 money since I have not yet worked a full year and my parner does not earn minimum wage. It sucks but than I remind myself that the day I got fired I was literally dance walking from room to room.

Sometimes it’s better to throw yourself into an uncomfortable (maybe even terrifying) situation rather than staying stuck in a space that’s no good for you. It’s an incredibly brave thing to do. I know it’s hard right now, but you’ll get through this and then you’ll be so grateful to yourself. You’ve got this ❤️

That's a tough one! Something I've been doing recently is just telling people (very sensitively) when they have a negative impact on my emotions. Just like, "Hey, I know you don't mean it, but when you say things like that it makes me feel quite upset/anxious/whatever. Do you think we could change the subject?" A lot of the time people don't even realise that they're doing it! Hopefully that might help :) x

Read The Quran. it's the missing link . It's the only book where yhwh himself speaks directly. Blessings 😉💗
