5:59 the hellwing bow has a special attribute. You know how when a projectile pierces an enemy, the next enemy in line will take less damage, and so on? The hellwing bow just kind of doesn’t do that. It’s a piercing weapon with zero damage dropoff. Every worm enemy should be thanking the high heavens that it’s so inaccurate.

Ive noticed you can tell how much pain and suffering a Terraria player has gone through just by seeing how consistently they can avoid being hit by eol

The 1/80,000 Uzi drop rate was a bug, which was patched to 1/200. It was then increased to 1/100 in 1.3.0.1, which it remains at to this day

Hearing eminem during the EoL fight makes this probably one of the best challenge runs

The Eminem Empress texture pack is the greatest thing I've ever seen.🤣 Also, maybe an interesting challenge could be a "No Weapons, Just Equipment" run mainly because I love accessories that attack enemies, in both vanilla and modded, so I'm kinda curious about what the highest amount of damage you can deal with just accessories.

This was really cool to watch! A challenge run i always like to see is the Fisher. 1. You're allowed to craft needed items to progress (accessories , tools) 2. You're only allowed to use weapons you fish up or are nautically themed , ore you get from crates are fair game, but you can't mine. 3. You have to craft / get every fishing rod and display them 4. Complete the Angler quests , you are allowed to use Angler items. 5. Craft the Shellphone 6. Get all of Duke Fishron's drops. 7. Defeat Moon Lord. I also like Engineer 1. can only use tools, explosives, sentries, and traps to do damage. so your base is a bunch of traps and like a huge farm to deal with enemies. bosses are lead into elaborate trap set ups

The movement issue in early to mid Hardmode could have been solved by purchasing a jetpack from the steampunker.

All I'm saying is that the final tier of old one's army can really help you survive. It gives a lot of armour and regen

Yes please please do a fishing challenge. I know it’s weird but I absolutely love fishing (genuinely) I get excited finding the stuff for the potions and growing the flowers and everything about it. Figuring out where to go and how to optimize makes me focused. I really enjoy it and would love for a fishing challenge.

you should absolutely do a fishing playthrough. also, i know its a lot of work, but don't cut out sections (or if you do, dont make it as obvious, or find brief clips from that section tat are beneficial). i loved this video though. genuinely one of the funniest vids ive seen in a while, you're sense of humor is unmatched in my eyes.

Fishing actually has a tonn of useful things that you technically don't craft. Yeah, you can't craft a fishing rod, but you can get one relatively early in the jungle, the green one, fiberglass or so. Then the mechanic sometimes sells one, and the travelling merchant sells a duck one if you're lucky. But really all you need is any rod and then grind the best one alongside everything you need for fishing from the angler. And yeah, in hardmode one of the rewards is somewhat decent Flipper wings

Another option pre-hardmode that doesnt rely on the world evil is the ancient cobalt armor that drops from some jungle enemies. It would be a more mage focused pre-hardmode so your weapon for the wall would probably be the fire flower or the flamelash

The fishing themed playthrough is shimmerblock, it's pain.

The corruption Ancient Shadow Armor farm is actually one of my favorites idk why. I always find myself farming for it because I love the look and once you get your first banner it gets a hell of a lot easier to do.

Commenting before watching the vid itself, but I also did a no craft challenge once. It was really fun, forced me to think outside of the box a bit and use some weapons and armor I normally wouldn't use for my playthroughs. I did mine on expert mode since master mode seemed tedious, but I may give it a swing again at some point on master mode in the future.

It is in fact, worth the effort.

Instead of the ancient shadow armor, you could have gone for the hoplite armor. It has the same defense as gold or platinum, but with knockback immunity as the set bonus.

2 things you could have done, gotten fishron wings, and used the plantera dungeon key items, mainly the desert tiger staff with your summoner build at the end

6:57 so true dude, my first mulitplayer playthrough in expert mode (cuz my friends forced me to), the queen slime fight was the worst one by far, like i wanted to fight her for the achievement and gear she drops (mainly the mount) and it took longer to beat her than plantera and golem combined, its insane, she needs a rework or something man

You actually could’ve gotten wings. They just suck. They’re called fin wings and they’re an angler reward. And before you say “I don’t have a fishing pole”, the mechanic and travelling merchant both sell one and you can get one in the jungle.

Try including bubble blocks and water in your next queen slime arena. It slows projectiles and it makes slimes ascend. It slows down her movement ALOT in phase 1.

It went from hell to playing summoner but a wee bit down graded armor

7:30 unironically, queen slime became a better and more fun bossfight for me after realizing how forgiving the bullet hell is compared to bosses in mods like calamity

Tbh you're basically on par with progression the entire run, it's just the grind that takes longer.

ive only recently reinstalled terraria after years to find out there is a bestiary to fill out of every monster, animal and NPC in the game and im doing a really annoying yet fun challenge of a hardcore (in casual) no starting items challenge. ive had some okay runs like the one ive sadly died to just now but usually i have to delete worlds if i end up getting stuck, delete characters if they have any items on them from a previous world and having to deal with dieing to traps underground, getting swarmed and falling to my death on accident or in darkness when i dont have a light source. was also thinking of doing a seperate run where i cant get any kills using any form of item/weapon that does any dmg and see how far i could get from there. the exception of item use that does dmg are summon items as the summons are the 1 doing the damage, not myself. the reason i considered this was also due to a world i was just on. i spent two days underground in pure darkness hoping i wouldnt die to slimes or other monsters as i hadnt found a chest. i got very lucky that on my way down at some stage, i picked up a singular web and soon found a minecart track by pure luck. as i had no weapon, i mostly spent those 2 days just killing the underground slimes and anything else via the minecart hoping for a slime staff drop. i noticed a little dungeon room just out of reach and after some time of trying to figure out how to get up there with no building blocks and just gel and 1 web, i eventually realised i could make 3 web rope and it was enough to get in and find a chest with a recall potion. i go back to the surface and its night, hoping my guess would be right, i was hoping that the guide can take out zombies until it dropped a zombie arm which it did after the 3rd kill. this was when i realised that i could likely progress the bestiary quite far and get free items via chests and NPC kills, without killing monsters with any weapon of my own.

I WAS LITERALLY DOING THIS CHALLENGE WITH MY BROTHER A COUPLE WEEKS AGO LMAO THE TIMING
