I ride from Rutana to Makamba, in Burundi, in Africa.
In Rutana, as I leave my hotel, some curious locals decide to come with me for the first few kilometers of my ride of today. Our joyful team leaves Rutana, and somehow, my followers become my royal escort on my journey across Burundi.

Burundians speak good Kiswahili, good French, good English. Amazing people. Amazing country. I cannot wait to visit. Very young population they have. I have seen so many kids. Average age of 16! Wow! They have a bright future with the right systems in place. Invest in education and technology like Rwanda. Rwanda has attracted top tech universities and innovators. The future is in technology.

I know those places(Rutana, Kayogoro, Gatereni, Route to Makamba,) I was born there. You will pass through a place called Rongero, Bukemba, Sosumo etc .' Rongero route is like a serpent pass 😂😂 too many zigzags and often accidents. Hope you're safe🙌🏽
