This is the story of how I became the first and only person to ever 100% the lolmaps server in Trackmania 2 Stadium, and how being American gave me the advantage I needed to complete this. (music used in the video is from the game)

Yo Sy' it's Tru3Lov3Kills....Thorough video buddy. You brought the reciepts and everything. What's interesting is that during most of your timeline I often played late too on the server, and eventually I noticed there was always this other American playing late night ** cue "He's going the Distance" by Cake ** I remember trying some of those hard maps too and they still make me squeamish... but it's still fun times untill the Euro's wake up and start playing around 5am EST..
@@StadiumofLOLMAPS So let me address that now that I'm not playing at the moment: I used to be AFK all the time not realizing how annoying it was to other players... especially if you want to skip and no one is playing. Crap, sorry man, that probably was really annoying now that I think about it... However ever since you mentioned it to me I started to put myself in spectator mode. Maniaplanet takes a really really long time to connect and load either through Steam, or maybe it's my network, but it seems fine, and I play so much that Ijust keep it up and running in spectator mode. Sometimes I see a map and I go play it and then go back to spectator. So does being in spectator mode log me the same as if I was racing? If so I'll start leaving the server... but crud, do I have the most hours or something? I need to get on Maniaplanet forums and learn some of the in's & out's because my playtime vs skill level is not what it should be. I think my car has got a bug or something.🤯
The person in the spectator does not count towards the vote. If 1 person will play, and 10 people will be in the spectators. Then you will need 1 vote to vote@@GTlv4u
@@GTlv4u spectator keeps you completely out of the way when it comes to calling votes, so no worries there. I'm also an admin so I can just extend anyway. I think you are getting close to around top 10 most active on the server now haha
I was looking for your contact email but didn't see any..I've been wanting to ask you about speed drifting, I've been trying and trying to reach 900 kph and I'm only achieving minor increases by luck, I don't understand the tire tracks guide, soooo maybe an idea for a separate video? Or next time we're on late night give it to me in 20 words or less?...btw does center spring settings have anything to do with it?@@StadiumofLOLMAPS
Thanks for the video, you reminded me my history with building eXortic maps at 8:37 . I completely forgot about building maps 10 years ago in TM2. Small thing but made me happy.
Top quality video, loved it! I just got into actually playing Trackmania (TM2020) after watching it on youtube for years. So far I’m loving it and I love finding new fun maps and communities like this

As someone who left tmnf 13y ago and struggles now with tm20 on console wants nothing more than bringing stadium back to console....I hate all these surfaces and I've lost the fun.
I started playing Trackmania 2 Stadium in 2014. I was top 20 in Canada for a while, but mostly because there weren't many of us. Terrific game, though. Trackmania 2 Stadium will probably always be my favourite.
There is a server called "MarKo fun" (if i remember corectly) in TMUF/TMNF where is a 2931 maps made by one person, MarKo. I played on other server with his maps but there was only 831 maps. Now I'm gonna beat every map made by him on MarKo fun with my brother. Thanks to you I now have motivation to do so :) Maybe streaming this is not a bad idea.
This video inspired me to reopen tm2 stadium and give Hard Shvoong some more attempts. I got 635 speed as my best attempt in about an hour of on and off playing, but did not even crash into the finish block with that. After I finish it, I'll look into setting up my drawing tablet as an input device and see how many of the Shvoongs I can beat with it.
@@StadiumofLOLMAPS I succeeded in finishing Hard Shvoong today :D One or two days ago, I got discouraged and tried to hunt Le Shvoong instead but quickly got a run with 639 speed in like 10 mins. Glad to have reproduced it (almost) with my 638 speed completion of Hard Shvoong. (Hard) Hard Shvoong is most likely outside of my grasp. Not sure how I'd get the extra 2 speed from the 639 one which went as wide as possible and felt like an excellent SD.

I can finish 70 other tracks in 5-10 minutes, but I don’t want to ride them. I had 3 days when I was alone on the server (the servers were not displayed in the list and no one could log in), and I had a direct link to connect. On the first day our server crashed, on the second day the same thing happened. On the third day Maniaplanet broke down)). It's like the game itself doesn't want me to finish them all.@@StadiumofLOLMAPS
Mostly, I wanted to see all the tracks on the server. When I started doing this, I had 1899 unfinished tracks. On these tracks I found about 30 new c cuts. I think in total for 3 age I found more than 250 new cuts on this server. About 90 more are stored in my “new ideas for cuts” folder, someday I will finish them@@StadiumofLOLMAPS
Now I have found a new entertainment for myself. I play tracks with worstrank. Most of them I played 2-3 years ago and it's fun to play them again. when you have skillup@@StadiumofLOLMAPS
