Just my two pence... Starting a call with an apology and an image of frustration via the 'smashing the phone up' comment creates an immediate negative in the clients mind. In my experience, to sell at senior levels. You need to have a pitch that is a 'peer to peer' (you are at their level, not subordinate) level and demonstrates your real have real insight that they can harness to improve their business.
@@jameshardy6277 I disagree. With a cold call this approach is good, honest and gives you a change to get to the next step. Then once you have there attention and used the negative to gain the opening moving through the process is far easier. Please tag me in your calls when you post them though.
