We ARE SO CLOSE TO 30,000 SUBSCRIBERS!!!! Lets get it! Also for those asking, this is not clickbait, I know the title is crazy, but once you watch it you will realize that I indeed did only pay $800 for my manual G35. I mean i guess the car itself didn't really cost $800 , but it did only cost me personally $800. Hmmm now you got me thinking, what should the title have been???
You got good ass deal i got mine for 7800 like 2 years ago with only 70k miles automatic bone stock then sold a year later for 11,500 was lowered on springs and had carbon fiber fenders and intake with wheels and tires and rev 9 exhaust but still i was shocked someone would pay 11,500 Then found a g37 2008 with 37k miles for 13k and bought that after i sold my g35
Bought my bone stock manual g35 coupe with 100K miles last summer for 5800 and then sold my shit automatic 2005 G35x sedan for 4800 so Id say I only paid 1K. Boom. Math😎
2003 G35 its not clean title but It has a lot of stuff done to it by “yours truly”, I got it for 2300$ with a 95k motor put in, I put in a transmission in it (manual to auto because I live in vegas and I want to drive my car however I wish) I put a LSD, it has HFC’s instead of normal cats, and I am currently switching my interior to black :) you and joe vasquez have inspired me to get my G35, next I want to paint it myself and get black 5 spoke wheels
I've learned over the last 2 yrs, most of the people throwing shade over an automatic don't even have a car, or a manual G for that matter, 😆. I have an auto, and drive it in Tiptronics all the time. It gives us AT G35 owners full control over the gear box. It's no different than all these cars that have paddle shifters. It's literally the same technology, but we use a stick instead of a paddle. Love my G, and just started putting it up on my channel. Check it out if you have the time 🙏
Just purchased a auto with 170k miles runs like a champ. $1200 bucks clean title. Interior needs some work. Needs paint and a few other small things but runs great.
I got Metallica, my 2004 G35 Sedan with 96k for $2500 last year in 2021 during march right before prices started spiking up. Have done so much to it and now finally got rims, exhaust, plenum spacer, even some tail light/headlight mods. I regret not one thing about owning this beauty and will continue to build her up and thinking of supercharging her in the future.
Bought my g35 coupe for $7k last November. It was a white with tan 2003 coupe with 64k miles on it. The previous owner had already put in a short ram intake and a stillen catback exhaust. Planning on changing the lower control arms this month. Other than that, it runs great, sounds amazing have had no problems. Already put on some spec-d headlights and waiting to get my double din installed after the control arms.
I bought my 2006 G35 Coupe in 2018 for $15,000 from an older, one owner (car collector) it was in a big garage, climate controlled, with 12 other JDM spec cars. The G only had 15k miles on it!!! The owner had ordered the car with every performance option available from Infiniti, including the first time RAS was offered in the G35 ($750 option in 06'). The car was in mint condition. Still had plastic all over the place, included over the radio, climate controls, display, etc... The car is unmolested, untouched. This year I started my channel around this low mileage G35, and we are going to mod the car, and give it the sauce! 🤙
@@DarkMan2555 yeah, and plastic over the radio, and info screen where clock is. That clear film you pull off. Dude had 12 other cars in that garage. And had like 3 daily drivers, LOL. He sold me the G ciz he knew I loved it. He lived a few doors from me. He needed to make room for a new Lexus, 😆
I got my stickshift g35 03 brembo sports package with 120k miles for 2500. Had check engine owner said it was timing chain. I took a risk rolled the diced. Came to find out it only needed the VVT solenoids to be cleaned and a oil chnave. And it ran like a champ after that.
Yassss!!!! Talk about it 💪👊 I bought an 06" coupe garage queen in 2018 with 15k on the dial. One, adult owner, that had a collection of cars. My car still had the plastic and shit all over inside the car. I paid $15k cash, and could sell it now to a guy in NY who is bugging me every month. He is upto $22k now. These cars are gonna keep going up.
2003 132k miles black on black leather 6 speed brembo package $4300 in NY - of course dumped $3000 more into it lol currently in the early stages of my build. Thanks for the videos on your channel BeDistinct - 1 more sub for you brother ;D
@@mechaniccars2759 nice deal! Any issues with it? My issues were suspension front/back, front control arms, ball joints, compression rod/rod bushings. alignment... Lol... mainly suspension components you need to really check on these when you're buying a g35
Just bought my 2003 g35 6MT for 1200.00 134k miles but bone stock. Bought it off a elderly gentleman who bought it for his grandson but his grandson couldn’t drive manual and didn’t want to learn and was more interested in a jacked up 4x4 truck so he just wanted to get rid of it and not make a killing off of it. So I lucked up and got it for the 1200.00 and only repair it needed was control arms and clear coat was peeling.
Picked mine up this past November for $3,800. 2007 auto coupe in the white pearl color… it had just under 133k on the odometer when I took delivery. Private party sale… purchased it from the original owner… actually very clean… dashboard does have a crack right down the center though.
Got mines for 10k with 80,000 auto , can’t find a manual where I’m at and don’t know one here to manual swap it so I just trick it out with carbon fiber trunk, hood,& fenders. Motordyne exhaust with art pipes wheels and bolt on stuff and left it at that till the new z comes out 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
Bruh. Drive in Tiptronic mode. You have full range of your gears. It's just like driving a car with paddle shifters, but we have a stick instead of paddles. I'm gonna do a vlog on it. Don't let the "auto" haters get in your head. Most of them don't even have the car. 😆
4000 for a 04 g35 coupe 6 speed came with mods. Just purchased a month ago so that’s a great price for the market around here. Sold my 04 g35 sedan 6 speed for $7000 made 3k paid off car payment now I have less milage and don’t owe anything 🤷🏼♂️
Any g35 on the market being sold less than 4500-5k has underlying problems with it, when buying these cars do not shop for the best deal around you will be fucked with additional maintenance costs that may add up to more than just buying one in solid condition. Top problems with these cars are 1) Radio gets blown and often times you will need a double din replacement because the OEM one actually costs more (unless you solder and yours is repairable). 2) Oil Consumption especially with Revup models, but oil leaks and things of that nature are very common. Parts can add up and be expensive with these luxury vehicles even though the aftermarket is wide, so I cannot stress enough when buying one of these make sure the previous owner maintained it properly and it is in solid condition, some people thrash them resell to get their money back and buy a new one or new car.
Just bought my 2006 6 speed bone stock G35 with 115k original miles clean title with no accidents for $5300 two days ago! I'm in south jersey so everything is extremely inflated over here but drove 4.5 hours to Virginia to pick up my beauty.
I bought my 05 G35 auto coupe Athens blue in 2018 for 2,500 in Houston it had 160k miles. It was in rough shape but I put about 3k for much need maintenance. And I still have it my girl drives it daily and I bought a 2010 G37s vert 6mt in grey metallic with 120k miles on it in 2020 for 13k and I daily that.
i bougth mine on the local auction for 1k clean title just needed front bumper cover i spent too much already on after market like coil over, brake rotors, dc intake head light everything cool with yes but auto now i want an manual but i am afraid to sell my actual g i love it it is so fun to drive hear the intake and exhaust goddd
I bought my g35 2004 for 5k with a transmission swap 1k mileage , also has a jdm engine swap with 60,000 miles on it. 7/10 for both interior and exterior. Used to be an automatic, so glad the previous owner did a transmission swap and sounds clean af.
I paid $3500 for my 2006 G35 Coupe 6 Speed, with 167k it had a salvage title at first due to some small front end damage but it's very minor, I took it to get inspected and got it bumped up to a reconstructed title so I could actually register the car, it was pretty scary for a first time car buyer , not knowing if I was even gonna be able to have it be road legal, would not recommend buying a salvage title car it was too much of a headache thinking will it pass inspection? Did I waste my money? but it all worked out in the end, I just upgraded to a Stage 1 Clutch and added a DC Sports Short Ram Intake, Exhaust is next 👍
I think you will be good on the title/inspection. I found a low key gas station, and talked to the owner before getting the inspection. He basically said if it passes the computer portion he would pass it lol. My tires were shot/suspension was shot/blinkers weren't working, and I passed. Main point is find a inspection site preferably a gas station owned by someone who won't bone you/make sure no lights on the dash are on
2004 coupe just came with a intake and catback exhuast with aftermarket head lights no dents or scratches anywhere got it for $5,000 with new swap motor of 37k miles and original 96k
Bought a 2007 g35x for 6700 clean title and with 107k miles on it. The only thing is it’s leaking oil , I changed the oil filter and bought a new ring and also did an oil change ,and i don’t know what it is yet
2007 g35X Sedan With 180000km for $4400 CAD, what you guys think worth it? I had it for more then a year and nothing happened with it, even a oil leaks
I paid around 35k for my 05 G35 coupe 6mt sports package etc...in 2006. It had less than 9k miles on. It had the Rev up oil consumption problem so Infiniti replaced the engine at just under 45k miles before the factory warranty ran out. I now have under 87k miles on it and its stock except for intake. Watching your vids and others makes me wonder if its worth keeping/modding. Paint and interior did not age well.
@@BeDistinct LOL. I started it up the other day and it actually has 81,220 miles on it. I haven't even put 40k on the new motor. Hopefully I'll get around to doing something with it one day. Great vids by the way.
Ayyy I basically did the same thing. Had a g35 coupe with 165k miles, then bought another with only 73k miles, coilovers brembo brakes and a few other tasty mods. Swapped all the mods from the old one and sold it for $6500. Bought the new one for $6700 so basically bought it with $200 with your math
I got my g35 for 4.4k off my friend its a manual and the brembo breaks that came stock with the car. I have videos of it on my channel actually if you want to see it in action
You forgot to mention the car then sold on Facebook somewhere lol I wonder where it’s at now !! Loving this build tho 🔥 just got a wide body g37 and can’t wait to finish it up
So I got a 2004 g35 6 speed manual for $3500 . The transmission is perfect no grinds works like butter . I drove it around for about a month and I drove it really hard the whole time and spun a bearing in the motor . Should I replace it with the stock motor , or go ahead and take my motor apart and rebuild it with forged Pistons and rods
im rebuilding a revup motor, DONT do it. i promise you. Dont do it. I already put the lower end together. Brian crower rods, wiseco pistons, tomei head gaskets, arp main studs, and I’m trying to figure out how to put my tomei 266 cams in. It’s torture. oh yeah and youll need a oil pump, water pump, thermostat, alternator, silicone hoses, wiring harness, exhaust manifold, intake manifold, fuel system, and this list doesn’t even include all my bolt ons... tomei exhaust, throttle body, plenum spacer, custom intake, catch can, oil cooler. Just buy an eBay turbo.
@@Bigyellowburner I don't know , the way I drive I constantly beat on the car , I like to drive it to it's limits and stock motors tend not to last long for me on any car . To replace the motor would cost $1800 for a motor that you still have to replace alternator timing chain throttle body ac compressor basically any motor I find online says it's just long block you have to use all new equipment as well . And I have an engine builder who can build it for $1000
@@sirspeedsalot build it for 1000. That doesn’t include all the things that go into the motor, I’ve spent more building my motor in the past two months than I spent to buy the whole car. I have nearly 7K into my motor, gaskets, special funky tools, oil pans, hardware, pulleys and belts and cooling system shit, do not do it bro just drop in a stock motor I promise you
@@sirspeedsalot unless you’ve got over 10 grand lying around and a machine shop, and you ALREADY have most of the parts that go into building the motor, don’t do it, and just having someone else build a motor for you isn’t quite practical, you can’t trust the work, im sure the estimate he gave you was to rebuild a blown stock motor, building it with different size internal parts and modifying the heads and machining is not something that people take into consideration. It’s not a quick process and the steps to doing it are completely different compared to rebuilding it like it’s oem
@@Bigyellowburner no it's a family member who builds the best motors in Florida, PRD , and the machine shop is $1000 for everything block and heads . And I calculated price of all the parts to around $3200 , all and all I think I can get the whole engine built for $7000 . And then I already have a hks supercharger kit brand new never installed yet and I have injectors and fuel pump already . If I buy an engine online it's $1800 and you have to replace a lot of parts it says that could add up to around $1000 then around $750 for me to get it changed over . Idk if I could find a used engine for cheaper I would but its hard to find a good deal can't find under $1800 for stock motor with missing parts
I just bought my 2005 G35 auto with 63k miles for $9k. I feel like I got a good deal and am loving the car, although I would like to get the car inspected and make sure the car will run for years to come. I'd also like to get into modding it over the next few years. Does anybody know any good G35 mechanics or VQ35 guys located near east TN, Knoxville area or anywhere nearby? Thanks! Also @BeDistinct the G35 is my dream build, Keep it up man and drive safe!
That's a good price in my opinion. CarMax offered me $9k for my 06' that had 46k miles at the time. Was like 4 or 5 months ago. I was just doing it for content on my channel. I see 05" with 80-100 k miles going for 11-13 thousand.
@@speedracer2831 Good to know man! I'm driving the car everyday and it is so much better than my old 05 camry and 95 mustang haha. I took it by the dealer today and scheduled a full inspection and got my tires looked at. I hit a fat pothole that bent my front left inner wheel and the front right wheel bearing is going bad so getting those fixed and that should be the only thing wrong hopefully. Prolly put some new tires on as-well soon. I'm glad to see them going for a good price. Doubt I'll ever sell it but good to know I didn't overpay. Have you done any modifications to yours? I'll check out your channel!
@@GalaxyGamingHD217 I did some minor front end upgrades. I just got a garage, so will be doing the go fast mods soon. Going super charger. Anxious to see how the healthy DE handles the sauce...yo, when you goto my channel, I posted my dashcam clip, of me hitting a pothole at 40mph. Almost swallowed my car up 😆😆😆 its funny. Got to check it out. I got my mods on the channel too. Check it out, give a sub. Would love to have you as part of the conversation 👊🤙🤙 *I see you subbed....much appreciated 🙏
I bought my 07 350z Hr 6spd for 12k and came with new clutch, New Paintjob Daytona Blue Pearl, Upgraded Gallery Gaskets and screws as well, New spark plugs and etc it basically didnt need anything when i bought it so it was well worth the 12k i spent 😅 especially seeing now how much Hr prices have gone up lol
I did have a G35 but it was thinking special few mods and extra but now I have a SC400 1995 V8 1UZ engine. I sold my G35 and I was driving my girlfriends car at the time. I wanted to get a Q50s. But then I couldn’t sense I had to get a house. Literally the next day of hearing the news. Some guy posted a SC400 amazing condition! I’m the second owner and it has 130k miles I bought it for 6k flat. The guy didn’t know what he had and honestly he didn’t care sense he just bought a Tesla. Now I turned stock SC into a mobster 👀
My first g I got it for 2000 with a clean title and about 180000 miles it was a 2006 and my second one I got it for 4300 and it was a 2004 with about 170000 miles
@@joseef9167 the only thing I had to do to mine was basic maintenance and the camshaft position sensor. I highly recommend replacing that if you haven’t already
04 G35 5AT for free, my family owns an auto shop, guy brought in his g, couldn’t pay the labor, there was a mechanic lien involved so we ended up keeping the g for free. Had no idea about cars and had no interest in them, first drove it to prom, then officially started daily-ing it the last week of my senior year in 2017. Been a journey since, it’s sentimental to me and plan to 6mt swap it. Even if the G wasn’t my first car I know I would have been a jdm vq boy either way.
