Thanks so much brodie! Congrats on your new car man! We got our RTs around the same time haha! Yeah man financially the RT is the smarter choice for me right now aswell :)
I got into a new 2021 RT almost 2 years ago now. I got a crazy deal on the financing right before rates skyrocketed (0% apr for the loan term). I think RTs are a good place to start for people in their early to mid 20s. People always ask why I went RT and not Scat and aside from the financing deal, I didnt want to piss away money into a car loan when I could be saving/investing that money for later on in life. I may not own the flashiest trim of charger but I love it and my retirement and savings accounts thank me for it!
Smart. Keep it up and pay it off bro. A car is never worth it if it’s gonna make you struggle financially. Get a house and all that first. I was gonna sell my RT when I turned 30 but screw that. I don’t want to start over lol
Bruhhh i wish i had suede or alcantara it would've been so much cleaner! also no thats dope bro we twins haha since we have the same color and year! Thanks so much for the positive feedback though dude definitely going to keep the content rolling.
@@roxymopar the suede is amazing but I have the Carmel suede so it’s really easy to stain so I have to be so careful with them but let me tell you. They make the interior of the care look so clean
@@roxymopar🧢 you can’t get that with a secured loan through a credit union in years now. No need to lie my dude. If you’ve got great credit you’re under 6%
I'm in NC and I just graduated from NCCU. I'm going back for grad school, I have a 2007 Kia Optima and I bought it before my freshman year and Its ran me great. Now though I'm looking to treat myself with a gift and I'm looking at mopars. I'm looking for something newer than 2017 because I'm tired of replacing head units. I'm looking at the 300 S V6 Chrysler and a Charger GT but I'd love a V8 it just that price and gas but I'd keep the Kia as well I'm just not settled. I have to get an apartment
Hey bro nice vid! I’m from Houston as well and the same situation as you, I’m actually about to purchase my RT in about a week but being in Houston what’s your cart %? And do you get stopped for it often?
Yo wassup man! Dope to have someone from the same city as me. My tint precentage rn bro is as follows... Front windshield: 35% Front two windows: 35% Back two windows: 5% Back Window: 35% I havent really had too many issues with the car when it comes to tint. THANKFULLY. Defintiely considering the "stigma" our cars have though some officers might be inclined to stop you and use the tint as a reason for the stop. very rare for the most part though. Its usually lame officers that just want to have a reason and then once they dont find anything they will let you go. Hasnt happened to me yet in this vehicle but deinfitly has occurred red in my other cars. Especially sugarland cops lol
Well if ur like most kids who may work for themselves only ( parents paying for almost everything ) price sound reasonable. Got my scat challenger for 35 used w/ 12k odo . Lower payments cause down payment was massive. Ur car looks good . From CA..✌️
sick advice bro, planning on getting a ‘17-‘19 R/T but my parents don’t have credit and there’s dealerships saying “no credit or bad credit you can still finance” you think it’s a good idea or how could i finance the car? thanks!
Yo u have a sick Charger. I'm thinking on getting one, but not sure which version to get (eg. GT or RT or something else). Which one sounds/performs the best?
i’m looking at a 2019 scap pack used with 40k miles. i’m 18 barley turing 19 this summer. should i buy a used scat pack or a used rt. also i don’t have credit but i’m aiming to put 8k down.
@@OctonaBoyFreshYeah man insurance is insane 😅 220 for two cars is so good dang!! I heard insurance rates vary tooo depending on what state/area you live in! Maybe in the future i’ll have a lower rate
Im at $800 for a brand new 345 R/T as a 21 year old, how did they get you for that high? My interest is at 7% also I think this will change soon, I don’t plan on keeping it for long, just because of how upset I am with Dodge and their greediness. But they’re struggling to sell the new chargers, so there’s probably a good chance for you to upgrade if you ever wanted
High interest rates bro and my credit wasn’t where i wanted to be for this purchase. And this was over the summer. Now Scats are going for 35-42k dang near new so i’m definitely about to upgrade soon.
People say $740 is too much!! Lies.. they probably driving a 2023 Altima paying $1k a month plus 12% interest 😅 I know a few people out there doing that
That’s good compared to now !! Looking good ! Bought my 2021 Rt and love it ! Eventually upgrading ( first time buyer ) buying a new scat didn’t make sense for the money
😂 dealerships make money from you financing yes. But none of them have control over your interest rate. Unless you are going through a Buy here Pay here. Research rates in your state and what lenders a dealership works with before hand. Credit Unions are not always the best way to go for a vehicle. Especially if you are a first time buyer. Most CU’s have terrible rates for first time buyers. You are way better off in most cases going in with a high credit score and hoping for a system approval with one of the dealers prime lenders.
Thankyou for your input it and knowledge! I agree its vary important to research before hand so you can know what rates to expect prior to walking into a dealership. Credit unions might no always be the best avenue depending on where you are in life (credit score, pre-existing assets) but for me it worked pretty good. I know the route to get capital is going to vary from person to person but this is what worked for me :). Notably, what you said is very accurate its important to just try to have your credit score as high as possible and hope you can get approval with a prime lender. Thankyou so much for your comment!
That’s solid bro, i know it’s a lot of variables to consider such as where you live etc. I should’ve clarified more in the video but my car payment is around $400 and insurance is like $300 which gives that $700 per month figure.
How much money you put down, and how many miles you have on it? I have a 2020 dodge charger rt Daytona bought it with 12,000 miles paid 37k put 3k down!
