But they never show how the real trading happens practically, and we even don't know if they really do stcok trading and wonder if they really have stocks🤣🤣. What many people do is, when others buy they also buy, when others sell they also sell, Share trading is not something that we do by looking at what others do, Real investors do not follow the herd. We study the market, we have the knowledge on the economy, on company behavior, based on that we forecast what would happen in future and we buy if the analysis supports us to buy. We do the selling on the same principle backed by sound research and knowledge. So you should not buy just because I bought, or you should not stay without buying just because others say. You can open CDS A/C in sri lanka for CSE, through a broker after filling the right forms. At the moment forms should be filled and handed over to the broker. If there is someone in SL who can handover the documents to the broker for you you can o it. But very soon, everything starting from opening a CDS account, you will be able to do 100% online without handing over physical documents. This is because the process is currently being digitalised by CSE/SEC and thereafter you will be filling the form online or sending the scanned documents. Mr Perera is a phenomenal character, and I'm sure you know that he does a lot of research before doing any business. I actually do not know what exactly his secret is when it comes to share market trading, but I can guess that he buys stocks by looking at the future potential and does research and assess if he can make a turnaround the company he is planning to invest in. And he holds on to stock for a longer term. And I'm sure you know that he has a very sound knowledge in Maths which is the backbone skill for any subject. So knowledge is the power.

You may select anyone you can approach easily. I do not see any big differences in their services. But If someone gives online trading free/for a minimum base account value you may consider them.
Sir, like this way how can we trade without a broker company. How can we create a cds account. What are the site's should we log on to buy or sell stocks without a support of a broker company. Can we do this from beginning. Please advise us. Thank you very much
Even though we trade online, all transactions we do, go through our broker company, the access to online portal is given by the broker. You cannot trade without going through the broker to trade in CSE. You can open a CDS account through a Broker. There are so many Stock brokers in Sri Lanka. Just call one of them and they will give you an application to get a CDS account. They will create that account for you.

Share prices of export trading companies can increase because now export cargo flights resumed operations. That positive signal has affected the prices. REXP produce a variety of rubber mats, some of them are for agriculture and FMCG industries. Might have had a demand from overseas or in general opening the country for exports itself is a good signal to move up the prices.
Dividend declarations are published at CSE site whenever announced. And I'm not sure if you can open a CDS A/C online. Anyway just try contacting multiple brokers. There are a lot of brokers in Sri Lanka. So just give it a try

Atrad has a much better user interface and has a user friendly ambience. This is my opinion. But what both do is the same function and both have similar analytical tools. I'm anyway biased towards atrad.

Once you sell, your sold stocks from your CDS account will get deducted and the cash proceeds will be credited to the your account that you keep with your broker. Then upon your request , your broker issues a cheque for you.

You can download the form from broker site and then hand them over to broker along with other documents ( faxed or scanned copies are not accepted by the CSE as per capital trust web site). But you can ask someone in SL to do it for you by sending him you documents to hand it over to broker. I don't think you can open CDS A/C 100% online . You may refer this link to get more details.
