I felt like I was watching an actual tv show! It was such a fun video. And the fence looks fantastic. I love when Nicole makes a short appearance. She's so cute!
really superb .. being with nature is very much important nowadays .. after technologies human gets far away from nature.. i wish i have one life like this.. thanks for sharing this experience my friend.
You are so right. It's important we connect with nature once more and forget about technology every now and then. My goal is to show people how fun and easy it is to grow and garden 😄 thanks for your comment. Makes my day 💪🏻
Good and fun work! There are videos on RU-vid of how especially thick willow branches are divided lengthwise in two using the billhook tool. This saves material and makes the fence more even.
Hi Carol, you are right about that! But we are going to fence of the entire allotment with fine netting to keep the rabbits and mice out. This fence is pure looks 😄
Nicely done, can imagen the branches that went into the ground will start to leave out soon. More branches for next time 😉😁 Willow is a great material! I also love hazel which can also be used in this way I believe.
Hahaha yes! I will need to cut away the new forming branches. But that does make the fence more alive 🤣 I do love hazel aswell! Especially the color of it. Both great to use
I want that Fence too!!!! Is it that easy to make?? Je boekt echt progressie maar ook nog in het filmen, ze waren al goed maar die worden echt steeds beter.. Goeie flow, keep it up!! Nicole, just hit him if he's raring and teasing, I'm taking it for you😁
What tree were these branches cut from? I know it's a willow tree, but there are more than one kind. I would like to plant this tree and will it grow in south central Texas area? Anyone?
@@TheFarmDream hello, i looked into the pollard willow, how you mentioned, and it guided me somewhere. What i understood during research, was that (Pollard) is the method of being pruned, Maybe... 🤔 So it reads, " A pollarded willow is a willow whose trunk was shortened as a young tree to a height of about 1 to 3 meters and whose branches are subsequently regularly pruned. The species used for this are mostly the silver willow ( Salix alba ) or the basket willow ( Salix viminalis )." So now i have to look into those two to see which tree it would be...my bet is on the silver willow.... But i might be wrong....lol Update: okay, so after looking into the trees the one i was looking for was the silver willow but it comes out more as White Willow. Finally thank you for pointing me out to the right direction. Thank you!
