I just discovered this tutorial the other day and I used it to build a P-47 Thunderbolt! There's some issues I'm still trying to figure out (mainly the tailfin) but It flies well enough at the moment
It's the simple things, I'm thinking about building an ultra light and wanted to make it odd width for the motorcycle seat and a triangle shaped trike, but I'm like how am I going to use one propeller in the center when is 2 blocks wide... And you just turn it upright without thought... I may just be an idiot but you definitely helped with that, let alone or design ideas for other plane projects, like the canopy idea!
Watching this 1years later after the airborne the gyroscope and everything makes me so nostalgic IDK why but now I want to go build an old style prop plane
This is a great tutorial on planes, however my only problem would be that when I take off, my place tips forward really far and makes it quite difficult. Other than that this was very helpful
I am so glad the new propeller came out otherwise all the massive builds that should have a to scale propeller Just would have these tiny ones oh my God the new one is so much better.😊
I really want to know how you made that weird angled wing one that is kinda like a "w" shape, that is dark green and shown in the thumbnail, it looks cool!
So u add a small steering hinge then a altitude sensor. Make the altitude sensor -500 meters in the configurators. Then in the configurator connect it to the hinge. And then put the hinge in between the wing and the fuselage. Then in between 2 wing blocks. And finally go into the configurator and make the hinges any angle u want
I tried and I forgot that all of my pieces to my plane or not attached so when I tested it out all the pieces fell off and then I start it all over again LOL
There's a trick that i used to make the Kfir C7, I used the go kart seat and put a piston In front of the go kart facing the side, and putting the position to 0.5 so its oddwith so I can still have a 2 wide thruster in the back, really works nice!
Best advice I got from this was turning the engine by 90°. I really never thought about it and for this reason I barely use the motorcycle cockpit. Which is really strange because I turn all the other engines when I need them attached And I really should use the glitch for more builds. I was aware of it but tried to build without glitches.
yea no hate flys like a dream bet on take of it drifts so only test zone run ways work u need to pull up 247 or u nose dive and crash also same when takeing of turning is slow u crash if u try and also the totorial isent clear at all so many cuts in vid and just to fast slow down
I could not follow whay he was doing and when he sped up I could not follow as well this is the first thing that popped up when I searched how to build planes in trailmakers and I still don't know how too
I was thinking that too, add a hinge on it for added look. It also gave me the idea to use separation blocks to make an ejector seat on a delay after the canopy blows off!
