Thanks for the tips. I been cleaning Pike all my life, this is the best I've ever seen. I definitely will doing it your way from now on. I'll see you on the Bay!
People are different and have different ways of doing things. Doing what works for you and it satisfies you is what counts not opinions. The old cliche works well here: opinions are like a_ _ holes and everybody has one. Keep up the good work. Suggestion: place the board over a sink where a small stream of water can keep your work area and the meat clean. It's safe, clean, and efficient. Kudos on taking the red off. Tips like that make for a good informative video. Then you'll receive a " well done from an old veteran like myself. I can say at least you share something worthwhile, which is more than I can say for haters that haven't caught, cleaned, or cooked a fish much less contributed something to help their fellow man.
Yeah thats funny when its not just a opinion but straight facts this way of fileting is terrible takes forever and he just wastes the carcass there is a much easier faster way to do this without any waste ! And you get boneless fillets right off the bat this is just not affective
I woulda put that mama pike back in the water...they're not hard to catch...but definitely more pike in the water if you give those eggs a chance to hatch...
Good grief. This is one of the reasons I don't eat fresh water fish. I can clean a grouper or snapper, remove all the bones and skinned in less than 3 minutes. To each their own...
Yeah but you can fillet a pike fairly fast this guy just makes it look way harder than it has to be you can get boneless fillets right off the bat if you cut the fish in the right way
He cut off all the extra meat that’s why. You can eat the skin because it’s just like the meat itself or you can peel it off. This dude cut it off along with 3 extra inches of meat.
You really need to learn how to properly use Mic distance your voice in the video is so low and then you turn on that stupid electric knife and it drowns everything else out makes me not even want to watch the video other than that it was an all right job cleaning wasted a lot of meat on the back though
@@user-md8wu5zh5e you have no idea what you're talking about this guy is terrible at fileting pike took forever and was very gross and ineffective you can get 5 boneless fillets very quickly with little effort cutting them right off the fish then you use the carcass as soup base and you don't waste anything dont throw the carcass away even if you don't eat it leave it for the animals its good for the economy system
Watching you on this video makes me want to throw up, you take the contents from the stomach and all that stomach acid, and slime and then touch to meet with your hands without washing them or wiping them. You have to eat that meat when you're done, some people say all you have to do is rinse it off. That is true, but you don't have to roll your hands in it or rub the slime on it.
If there is only pike to eat , Cleaning them ' well we all do it different. But Sir' you are Fussy about what you eat, and in that respect I respect you.
