How I Clean My Bass Boat 

Been using a mixture like this for years-works great on ALOT of things. I enjoy all your vids and really appreciate the "how to's".

Yeah for sure B... we use it on the tub. Ona different note...Sorry to see Scott go....I totally understand his decision pretty awesome opportunity for him. I fish Bfl Buckeye division, was wandering who might make that move. I for one am very excited for next season, fishing the Bfls and meeting so many great people last season was the best times for me . I’ve encountered all types of people in my lifetime, after 20 years in corrections, 30 years in the entertainment business, and the past 13 in retail, ugh the ultimate worst. My wife turned me on to this a couple years ago and it works wonders! I’ve never had to let it set for a day or so though, maybe 15-20 min and then get to wiping.

I was waiting for him to say something like “you just spray it on your motor, graphs, tires, dogs, cats, kids, heck I even shower with this when I’m fishing a tournament” 😂😂

Ok, so after my last trip fishing I didn’t get to wipe my boat down at the ramp, then I’ve been down with a back problem for the last 5 weeks. Needless to say, I mixed up this solution and used it, let it set overnight....definitely cleaned things up great. I was a little worried about using it on a brand new Ranger 520c boat but I trusted ya!!! Thanks for the tip👍

A magic eraser pad works really well for cleaning a scum line as well, great vid👍

If you want to make that even easier, go to an RV store and buy one of those scrub brushes on a 5 foot long stick. Its a lot easier when scrubbing the sides and behind the motor on the transom.

I have a Ranger RT 178. The specs are almost the same as your G3 but my Ranger is only rated for 75hp max. Wish I had a 90 on mine.

I haven’t been able to get the water spots or dirty water line off my boat/engine cover yet. Gonna try this. Cumberland River & Barkley are almost always nasty so mine is pretty bad. Wish me luck

Floor stripper works wonders, its for stripping wax of floors. But dont get it on any stickers or decals they will come of immediately, works great on greasy car motors as well

Brian - nice boat - why would you choose an aluminum boat vs. a fiberglass? Is there a big difference in how they perform? I'm just a weekend fisherman with my son. Already have a G3 1652 set up for hunting so I like the style - just need a dedicated bass boat.

just remember, for a fiberglass boat, DAWN and Vinegar will strip down the wax very quckly. I Love Turtle Wax: Wash and Wax, a little bit goes a long ways. check it out

I'm car guy, you specifically need DAWN ULTRA, don't waste your time on any of the other DAWN dish detergents.

You should try putting your concoction in a foam cannon and soak The whole boat with a pressure washer

Does the bottom of your your alum painted hull scratch easily ? Mine is covered with scratches even though I'm very cautious with it
