I could sit and watch you color all night. I enjoy listening to you explain each step. I really appreciate everything you do. Gorgeous work as always. Thank you.
Hi from Queensland Australia, thanks so much for taking the time to show and share this technique. I love your colouring. And I think it is wonderful that you were game enough to show a technique that is new to you so that W all get the chance to try it and grow. Sometimes watching "masters of the art" type videos is too daunting, I feel as though I'd never be able to do the same, but this one, as with almost all of your tutorials, makes me feel that "perhaps I can if I practise". Cheers and thanks again.
Thank you for showing us in real time. I don't mind your chatting and explaining what you doing. For blurry or bokeh backgrounds pan- or soft pastels are great to create a base layer.
You're welcome, and thank you! So glad you don't mind my chatty videos. Oh yes!!!! Those would work wonderfully to create the blurry background and make it easier with regards to laying down a base for the background. thank you 🤗💗
Shel I pick up alot of tips, I started with ergo soft years ago and then Faber-Castell Poly chromes but an EYE opening what you do with the water colour pencils. I am from New Zealand and hard to get colouring stuff I don't really want to use Amazon don't now how good there quality is. 😊
I need to try that blurry background you make it look so beautiful! I wonder how it would do on Amazon paper ? I do love my AD pencils wet but not dry but I’m not used to coloring with the dry either I find them a bit hard to blend dry . Great video shelly love it ❤
Ooh I love them dry. Hmmm I haven't yet attempted this background on Amazon paper Jackie. I think I would not be brave enough for it as I know it will take a lot of my patience to work on that paper especially for this effect haha 😂 If you try it out let me know how it goes Jackie 🤗💗
