Great video and love hearing how you made your decision. My oldest is a junior in HS and we're currently looking at schools - and like you with your undergrad coming to an end, it's making me feel a bit nostalgic as well.
Very inspirational! ❤️ Keep it Mitch and finish the year strong. Won’t be at the camp but can’t wait for that video to come out! By the way the stache is looking freshhh 😎
Git is definitely my favorite youtuber. Also, I cant be there for the camp but I wish I could, but don't worry I will support with the fire merch.🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸
Completely understand where you are coming from. I always wanted to play college football but being a offensive guard/ defensive end at 5’9” 210 in highschool I had no shot but playing d3 ball. Should have really pushed for playing lacrosse more in highschool, I didn’t play my JR year because I was worried about football lifting and camps out of season but being from NY state. I had a way better chance to go where I wanted in lacrosse and I just didn’t want it as much. Ended up playing community college ball and d3 lacrosse on a last minute decision and I don’t regret the choice
I’m 17 and I want to play Lacrosse next year for my Senior year. I have good athletic ability and played lax in 6th grade. Does anyone know if college have tryouts for lacrosse or do you think it’s possible for me to play in college?
Definitely still possible. If you're ready for it, I'd recommend joining a travel/club team that plays in summer and fall tournaments attended by college coaches and scouts. If you're not ready for that I would get a private coach to get you up to speed without any distractions then play in a more chill league to get used to the gameplay. Either split that up between this summer and fall or do both at the same time so you're ready for your school's tryouts in January/February. If you don't get any offers after your senior year you can do what I did and try out for a junior college team in the NJCAA as a college freshman (the same league that the Last Chance U guys on Netflix played in) and get recruited to play for NCAA D1, D2 or D3 after your freshman or sophomore year. You can also play for a big-name school's lacrosse program that's stuck in the MCLA or was forced out of the NCAA to the MCLA after title 9 was passed. Michigan Men's Lacrosse and a couple others have made the jump but there's still Boston College, Michigan State and some others that have their men's lacrosse programs stuck in the MCLA. Slightly easier try out to make the team compared to NCAA D1 but still pretty competitive in the top 25
Hi, so, what would you recommend for an 2 year player about to graduate 8th grade trying to make it to any college lacrosse. What do I do in an area with not a huge amount of lacrosse?
Hi Mitchell I’m a bit confused because I got a email saying I won the prize for ur last vid but it dosent say that on the achual coments ?? Do you know why
Hey @MitchellPehlke, someone is send us messages claiming to be you with a 509 area code asking for money. 509 area code is not from the Columbus or Boston area.
