Do it the first day. make sure you have atleast 20 Sims and 20 of the items. Or if you dont want to spend alot of money 5 of each or 10. Then every time you are going to sleep do the same as she says. (doing the longest task) then always remember the plants!
What I do: Don’t buy anything until I have enough for the last one Then I simply buy the cheapest one then I do the 2hr one Then I buy the cheapest one again and I keep doing this over and over
I know this is an old upload but just want to appreciate the house you used for this live event. It looks sooo stunning! I hope you can make a layout for this house ❤️❤️❤️❤️
i know this video is 2 years old but this tips actually worked for me!! there’s a live event rn and all i had to spend was 22 SP at the end to get the last prize but i usually only got the first few prizes, so thank u
Unfortunately, some of us have real adult lives and responsibilities that don't allow us to just drop everything to play a game every 2.5 hours.. 🤷🏽♀️
Alyssa Thompson he's got a point though... I mean, the developers should fix that. Not all their players have enough time to stay on the game all day long. They should at least be considerate about that.
How do you manage to get enough constructor coins to complete the event, I always have well over the requirements for the jewellery, glassware, pottery etc. but never enough constructor coins despite doing 2.5 hours all day and 8.5 overnight! So annoyed that it just comes down to luck!
Callum Reilly Everything from 3.25 to 6.00 describes what I do for CC. Basically, making sure I do all of the daily tasks every day. But I completely agree, I hate that you can slave away at this, losing sleep, doing everything "right" and still possibly miss out because of that spin flower.
Same way with me but previously I made a little mistake which is I claimed the unlock items early then ive to struggle at last time. Fortunately, I manage to finish it. Phewww
+Contrary Sims; Hi I just post to say. Thanks so much for sharing these tips on how to complete live event with days to spare. I'm going to try these tips in future upcoming live event & see how it goes;cause I usually don't unlock all prizes within the update because of time & definitly cc is very.hard to get in these live event. I usually just try my best to complete these event within the time limit but don't always win everything. I'm new to your youtube blog/channel. Tafs & btw you just earn yourself a new subscriber & thumbs up to your video. Thanks Loads
Hi Contrary Sims, I love your tutorials and building movies, can you make a building movie of your “working houses” showed in this movie? They look sooooo amazing! Also the house where you earn LP’s with cooking, diving etc.
When trying to win constructed coins at the coin patch, it uses your candles as payment which can gravely set you back if you do it constantly and get basically nothing in return
Thank you so much for this video I haven't been able to complete all the quest's from a long time I mean I am still in level 30 but I really want more LPs
Right now the Hair today, Gone tomorrow event is going on and I've finished about half of it in 2 days :) I do what you do, work backwards. Whenever I sleep or go to school I do the 8 hour thing and whenever I went out like to Wal-Mart or to eat or whatever, I did the 2 hour task because I know I won't be out for *that* long
Thanks for the tips! I haven't played the game for a few years and when I came back last week, it made me start from the beginning. Things have changed a lot since I last played. I feel like I'm going crazy with all of the events and quests they are making me complete. I'm currently working on a woodworking hobby event, a pregnancy event, the desert suburb thingy and now this Memphis Live Event. I don't think I have enough Sims for all of this. I remember doing the woodworking event to win the blinds the last time I played the game so I think I'm going to skip it for now since it should come back later. I have 4 Sims working the live event right now but I might need more to join in later to do the pottery or jewelry. 17 of my Sims are doing the pregnancy support tasks (why does it require so many sims?) and the 1 pregnant sim is doing her daily tasks. I have 1 sim at the desert home doing those daily tasks - sometimes it asks for more than 1 sim for a task so I'll send over anyone that is free or take someone away from the pregnancy support tasks - figure I can catch up on that later (hopefully?). I'm so glad that I'm currently on a progress quest that doesn't have a time limit.
Hi I just post to say thanks for sharing these tips in order to complete live event in time. I usually try to skipped the restocking crafting station time by doing a restocking cheat so as to have stocks full again. Which Normally Works for me. However I take your tips into mind & try it out in whatever next upcoming event Sfp brings or surprise us with; lol. I look forward to your reply a.s.a.p. Tafs
Yes, restocking is really annoying, especially when stock runs out right before I want to go to bed. But I usually find that my issue isn't so much with collecting enough crafts, it's always the CC, and being on top of the daily tasks usually takes care of that.
+Contrary Sims; Hi Yeah I totally agree with you on the CC part they're Really, Really Hard to come by & I so hate the fact that you have to spend either 20 Lp's to spin the SP Plant & hope for your luck and to win the jackpot(3 grasshoppers) in order to unlock the remaining prizes left within the event before claiming the grand prize or spend 25Sp to get constructor coins to unlock prize items. This is a ashamed or unfair especially for sfp tsimmers that are playing this game without cheats, hacks. I used to have a hacked a sfp world but a number of various issues started to pop up in my sfp hacked world that was beyond my contro & that also of the sfp developers team as well. Some Issues were I couldn't add a 2 or 3 floor, patios paving color issue etc. So I had no choice but to restart my sfp game without hacking it etc. I'm currently now at lvl 34 nearer to lvl 35 so from now. Anyhow I look forward to your reply a.s.a.p. Tafs.
+Contrary Sims; Hi I just post to say I don't think I'm going to be able to claim the grand prize in this live event just because of time left in it in which to complete & also because my phine/cell device needed charging. I probably be sad after the event is over for not winning the grand prize for awhile; but I'm quite happy because I was able to claim all the other cool prizes within this live event. Also All around I think I still do pretty good in this event. I'm going to miss out on claiming the plants in this Backyard beautification live event. Anyways I look forward to your reply a.s.a.p. Tafs
I forgot to the do the initial restocking trick-Great haha- it’s quite a coincidence for anyone to come here now as the “brilliant” backyard beautification is the current (11/5/2020)
I nearly completed a live event, wasted all my SPs thinking i was gonna win then the game glitched just before i was going to collect some crafts being made so i lost those and the wasted time Emotional damage.
@Contrary Sims This video is perfect and helpful. THANK YOU A MILLION for sharing your tips. This made perfect sense I will try this. You’re fantastic 🤗💗
Thank you! Useful information also today, 2022, in which I am holding my first event. I'm new to the game. However, I have a doubt about reloading the crafting stations before concluding the event. Should this also be done for those that produce candles? I ask because it is not clear to me what to do because of the initial tutorial
Nice tips am gonna try them out with the French chateau and one quick question are u sure about crafting for 2 hours is the best way especially that i got less then 16 hours and i managed to be closer to the ending i mean there is not much left just asking outta curiosity and thx
I'm not sure I really understand your question, but I'll try to answer. the longer actions will earn more resources per turn, but the shorter actions earn more per hour. Say you have a five hour period where you can't check the game, you may as well do 4.5hr, because you'll get for example 310 candles. But the 2.5hr gets 250 candles, so if you are able to do two 2.5hr actions in those 5hours you would get 500 candles. Make sense?
I do all this. Exactly like this, but I don't finish in time. It is only a little left. If the, would just give one day more, i would torally get all this
The first time around? I've played this game for a while and they've never had the same prizes a second time for live events. It is always new each time so I never win lol😔
How do you manage to actually complete the entire live event? Even with following as much advice as you give, I have yet to be able to collect all the items for any live event I’ve done. What am I doing wrong?
Ok but can someone tell me like: So if I get a prize from an event like a decoration or something but I don’t finish the event, when the event returns can I get the same prize I already won a second time?
I sleep at night and I always put them to make 8.30 hours but I never have enough candles, jewelery and glassware and it asks for a lot of keys what exactly should I do? I try so hard honestly but never work 😔 Very useful tips thank you ❤️
Is the "Cash In In The Morning" optional? I have 4 days left for the captivating coast and i need to unlock the 2 prizes (Beachside Bedroom and the Grand Prize) And i havent claimed the prizes yet just to pace myself I think i dont have enough resources for the event!
Thanks! With the French live event coming back and seeing how much left I had to get, especially with the cc, I knew I could possibly finish, but I won’t. I was saving up for the fountain because I really wanted it. I got it, but that took 6 days to get. So, maybe I can get something else?
At least you've got the fountain, that's one of the nicest items in the set, imo. I love how the sims interact with it. Teen sweethearts can use it too, which is so adorable!
If the same event happens twice I am assuming you still half to start over from scratch, right? If you already have purchased something like the first two items from the first time it comes up will you have to purchase it again the next time the event shows up, or do you know?
Lora Massegee when an event comes around the second time, you start from where you left off but don't get to keep the materials collected from the first time (the glass, pottery, etc). You keep the prizes won and there is less to get the 2nd time around. I have completed some of the events this way because I tend to be short on purchasing one or two of the prize packs most of the time.
The thing is though, schools out. So I really have nothing to do 🤷♀️I guess I’ll just put my phone on the charger and just watch movies and tv. Plus when we go to the beach and stuff like that, I’ll leave my phone at the hotel while we’re at the pool and stuff like that. I hope I finish 😌
If you complete with social points you get the full bonus (the bonus you would otherwise only get by tapping every single bubble that appears every 15mins or so). IMO it's only worth spending SP at the end of a long shift (6.5 or 8.5 hr) after you've been sleeping/working/whatever and can't be checking in regularly to collect bonuses, and the bonus amount is much higher after the long shifts.
An event just went back on my game. i already unlocked some prizes from the past including pottery station but as i continue collecting, the pottery stations i have in my inventory are still locked and enable to collect. it displays "check the event progress when this station will unlock" but it was already unlocked by then. can you please help me what to do? im so eager to get the prizes now but i will not get any of it without those pots. hope you can help me. thank you in advance.
I always buy the easiest first so I can’t start just using my candles for cc since that’s the thing I never have enough of then work backwards buying the most expensive item
Contrary Sims thank you if you do! I just discovered your channel and really enjoyed watching your videos! Especially this one! I always have trouble finishing the live events but I think the next one I might finally be prepared to actually finish a live event!
Nope l never finish it ldk but the fututre but 90% l didnt finish but almost 9% so so soooo close to finish 1% l finish just in time the bonus is 0,01% l finish earlly sigh ;-;
Do you know how 2 get more money on sums without doing that and without hacks also when you get a baby what do you do with the extra house can u make a video on that
Can you do a vid the hair fashion design event? There is 3 days left and im not doing so good. My sims keep making gumboots a fisherman's hat and fisherman clothes. Who do they only make those? Am i missing something? Please do a vid!
Ah yes the hobby events. The fashion design ones can be really frustrating. Make sure you're using as many sims as you can (I usually use anywhere between 10 and 20) and just keep trying over and over. There isn't much more to it than that. I hope you did OK in the end!
It's only so low during the tutorial, that's why I said to make sure you take advantage of it while you have the chance, because after the tutorial crafting times are a minimum of 2.5 hours. Listen at 1:19
Go to the home store, go to specials, and she’ll be there. Every 2 hours, you can either get free candles, pottery, jewelry, or glassware. This helps you finish the event quicker.
