When my kid was diagnosed, It made me realize I am autistic aswell. This realization helped me a lot to put myself in his shoes. What ever I am proud of him. He might lag behind in certain areas, But he is better is many others. We as a parent should embrace it. Theres nothing shame in being different. And Mothers don’t make it just your job. They may not be able to express themselves, but they need all the support from all your family members.

I so so agree with you ina and I feel you. I have been there and processing since September and feel much better. But yes we do waste a lot of time grief which needs to be given to the child.

Sahi acceptance Autism diagnosis is big thing.. Post diagnosis anxiety, denial, negative thoughts come bt after acceptance when parents realise - thy hv wrk hard wid child for improvemnt.. Some dez r gud, some r really bad bcz of challenge bt Waqt badalta - ek sa nhi rehta☺ Primary caregiver mother ko - yoga/ exercise / walk etc apni mental health ki care karni chaiye as most of time mother has to luk after kid - therapy, daily routine etc Gud u did mediation, Reiki for ur health.. Kp spreadin positive words🙌☺🥰

Ina can you suggest my child is 3.10 years old.she has very minimum sensory issue except she has no speech .no meaningful speech .can u suggest as per your learning with Viraj

Hello Ina, My son is 2.9 years old. He speaks two languages. He speaks like please mumma tv on and all. He does not flap or stims. I met many doctors and they say it is not autism. My only concern is that he does not get interested so much in studies. He knows 1 to 10 and a bc , he likes to colour. He eats well and conveys his feelings also. But something is different, like he sometimes wants to do what he feels like doing, and hitting is also there. He plays well with other kids, he knows the concept of turn taking, pointing and all other milestones are also there.

You son is only 2.9 years old. He is so little. its good to know that he has achieve all the mile stone on time. Let him enjoy his childhood time. Do'nt take so much pressure

Mam Mera beta rocking bohot krta hai, koi wall pakar ke jumping krne lgta hai 6-7 second kr ke fir ruk jata hai. Ye wo phle nhi krta tha till 5 years of age tk nhi Kiya uske bad se krne lga. Avi wo 9 years hai. Kise khatm krwau? He is good in academically and having good verbal communication. Self dependent in plying with friends in ground of d society. Wo khud se jaake khel ke aajta hai lift use karke, koi saaman ya kuchh send krna ho kisi or block ke flat me ya koi party attend krna ho birthday ki to wo khud attend kr ke aajat h ai, school bus se khud utar ke ghr aajata hai jbki humar society bohot bdi hai or 7 blocks hai. But mai jumping, repeatating or fixation issue se preshan hu or ab bs yhi issue bachi hai isme. Plz help

Hi Ina, I am extremely emotional and sensitive person, from d day of diagnosis, I have cried rivers, breakdown ho jata hai, feel like hugging somebody and telling them why God has choosen me for this. Nobody in my family is supporting even after diagnosis, and my son got ill 10 times in 6 months after Diagnosis. No improvement, I feel lost. Plss pray for me.

I have been there and cried a lot. Just focus on your child and you will get the strength. Improvement is slow so be patient but they can do everything

Mam my son 3 years 3 month he can understand few works he can watch tv nearly 1 year he can speak. Some words like amma daddy anna dog say abc 123 tv of. Of so much of change i can see he saw dog mamma dog say mam it will be cure we go to hospital they said brain not development she can say scanning. Exactly...don't waste too much time in the diagnosis label or being in a state of why? You will have 3-4 major areas where you need to work with your kid and that is it.

Stress Mt lijiye...bs ek bar doctor ko jrur dikhaye...mene bhi 4 years ke bad dikhaya ...or mild autism btaya h..bt mene iske liye khud ko pahle se hi prepare bkr rakha ta.. 4 saal tk m bhi you tube m search kr krk apna mental state bigad diya ta... Aap bs ek bar kisi pediatric neurologist ke pas leke jake assessment kta lijiye.wo or ache se guide krege apko

Normal docters kahate hai ki bachhe ke sath chodho...isliye mai 3 sal thak chup rahi.ab tho vo flapping karte gumte rahate hai.kuch bhi sunatha nahi hai.mujhe kis tara ka therapy Dena hai vo bhi patha nahi.pls mam batavo mujhe

Vo rice ke sath kafi cheeze khaleta hai jaise kadi rajma cholay chane aur sabzi mein its shahi panner (only gravy ) and aloo ki sabzi. Rest i make pao bhai often which he likes so he eats the veggies mashed in it . He has a picky eating habit of not eating anything in other utensils which are not familiar to him. So if we are in a restaurant there has to be a similar looking plate.

Hi ye bahut zyada depend karta hai bache ke traits pe agar unhe medical support ki zaroorat hai aur adulthood tak unke challenges bat ko samjhne mein aur basic life skills ko poora karne mein rehjate hain toh unhe support chaiye hota hai . As per studies mild autism par jo bache hote hain vo kuch hadd tak independently life lead kar sakte hain but unke bhi kuch challenges hote hain jismein on time and again mental support chaiye hota hai

He was diagnosed at 3.10 and if you are not self learned on any therapies then its always better to understand and gain knowledge how things are done and then start doing those at home. If your child is not comfortable at any center then its better to do things at home . It is scientifically proved that if a child doesnt have the rapport with the person who is helping in activities then they dont prove to be beneficial rather they can create anxiety issues
