Agreed... B-Real, Sen Dog, and Cypress Hill are legends.... it’s good to see a new spin on a classic. Anyone who gave this is a 👎 is obviously too young or stupid to appreciate this
I should learn some Tom Morello Moves 0:50 lol! Pure awesomeness! knowing my luck - I woulda dropped my guitar and the show would have been over lol! Loved this song a lot back in the day!
As a fan of RATM, PoR is the most exciting new band I've heard of. The album could have been better, but I sure hope they'll refine their writing skills as they continue working together.
I dig that they have DJ Lord in the band, but I really don't understand what he does other than playing some samples/tracks and making wiki-wiki sounds. Can someone please explain for me?

*I'm putting together a group of cool ass guys and gals to go see Prophets of Rage live! Hit me up if you're interested in meeting the group!* _We're setting up a cool and fun itinerary!_
No no, the fact that he keeps the Whammy on during the chorus makes an awful sound... It might be me, but he wasn't doing that in the first performances of the song, and then he kept it on since the South American Tour... And so, as I said, whatever guitar he uses, that chorus sounds atrocious to me. The EDS thing was a joke from me, 'cause I love Gibsons, and I find he totally underuses them. (I'm a drummer, I'm just a foolish fetishistic geek about guitars ;) )
How about go to a concert to see the band not others. I would think lovin a band like this you would be over judging ur fellow bros and sisters and be there for u. Supporting what they stand for. Same as feminism, social justicers etc. We were once against the system not each other. Let them take vid. I got vid of heaps of bands i dont remember going to. Support dont hate
Bruh, if I need to explain, I need not to explain, you know. As in, if you don't see something that obvious, my explanation ain't gonna help much anyways
Tim Fox You don't have to explain, just elaborate. Because I can think of some things you're talking about. But you seem so absolutely convinced, I'd like to know what you're thinking of.
To be fair, haven't been to any of their live shows, and, in any case, I won't do a good job elaborating. But I mean, it's literally everything. Starting with their promo campaign and, better yet, the whole game of trying to reap some fruit off RATM's, Cypress Hill's and Public Enemy's well-deserved fame: covering literally all RATM songs for starters before making any of their own songs, using RATM style in their own songs, using commi style in their graphics - which is not as much as RATM's thing as it is Tom Morello's, but anyway - and even using the name which is both reference to RATM and PE's song. Or, on the other hand, unenthusiastic (from what I see in the video) performance by, say, Tom, who seems bored, Chuck D, who - all due respect - projects how he's too old for this shit, and, oh boy, B-Real and his weird Abdullah outfit. Going back to B-Abdullah. For instance, have you heard that intro in "Take me higher"? The thing about the drones and all? Fucking hell man. Their lyrics is nonsense, their music is even less experimental (vis-à-vis RATM) than Audioslave (I like them btw, just sayin'). I'm defo not doing a good job trying to explain myself right now, but it all seems phony. Although, to be completely fair, it's B-Real's 3rd experiment with heavier music, ain't it? The first one was 2000's Cypress album - can't recall the name - then some things on "Rise Up", and now this. So maybe he just does whatever interest him and invited good ol' veterans for that... But I don't know, I don't feel like it's all for real (intended haha) - they seem to exploit what seems to be a social conflict in the U.S. (I'm a foreigner so I have limited scope here) and their big names. I still do like Prophets, but I don't think they will ever be on the same playlist neither with RATM and Audioslave, nor with Cypress Hill and Public Enemy. P.S. By the way, this version of CH's song is much better than the original and almost as good as Zach's - one of the few cases where the cover outdid the original.
