This is a bit of a different video from my usual micro campervan and photography trips.
I deal with chronic pain from spinal problem every day and this video how it affects my life, from being stuck in bed due to not being able to move. And how affects my walking, as well as explaining when the camera goes off on these videos how I am.
More trips in van coming soon, so please subscribe to see updates.

Thanks for this video. I’m in my 30s as of this comment, and just discovered my degenerative disc disease this year with a swift sudden pain that sent me to the floor for 30 minutes. Upon going to the doctor, I’m told it gets worse, and now unemployed. This video gives me hope that I can still do camping, just have to adjust things to accommodate myself more. My father is along like you, but he’s got me to help as I can. Do as you can, keep going, and don’t loose your motivation to keep moving even if it’s just your mind doing the moving. Hugs from a fellow human.

I'm speechless. I say in one of your latest vids I found it incredible. But know I've heard your issues, you truly are an amazingly strong, brave person. And I pray 2024 brings you lots of adventures, and most of all more lesser pain days. Keep going you amazing man.

As a fellow sufferer of chronic pain I started following you because like you I’m trying to stealth camp in my partner tepee and I love photography. My mobility is very poor because of bulging discs and needing a hip operation. I try to do landscape photography in accessible places. Photography is a great motivator to not give in to the limitations. Keep going as best you can and thanks for explaining how life is dealing with these conditions

You have my sympathies with your spinal pain. I'm amazed you manage to do what you do. I understand about having to manage your days around your medication. I have chronic osteoarthritis in both hips and need a double hip replacement and like you I find it difficult to stand, walk and drive. My days are also governed by my medication intake and it frustrates the heck out me that I can't do the things I used to manage easily before my arthritis developed.

Thanks for the honest and frank video about your condition. I also have a ruptured (slipped) disc in my lower back and know how painfull it can be daily. Thank you again and we MUST catch-up at some point.

Just about to begin my car camping in earnest and was recommended to view your channel by another RU-vid car camper. My journey also involves degenerative discs in my lower back and hearing your description of life as a sufferer nigh on matches my own. So much of what you describe hits the nail on the head, I have been through the deep despair too that comes with it. Now everything is about coping mechanisms that make my life better. There are many things that I have no control over physically but I have to push back mentally and one of my mechanisms is to be as active as I possibly can within my boundaries. My next challenge is the car camping and I already realise that it is not going to be as easy as I thought and that I will have to plan the hell out of it and try to factor in every little contingency. I will get it sorted. I look forward to viewing the rest of your content.

Another great video and photography. I have the same spinal problem, but not as advanced as you (Thank God). I have trouble walking and standing, and really feel the relief when I sit down. I have followed your videos from the start I think. I enjoyed the van build as you did it all yourselves and on a budget. All credit to you for your honesty in this film. Keep the videos coming, even the simple ones showing meal prep, bed prepping for the night etc, general van life etc are all interesting. Any improvements to the van you made afterwards learned through use. Thanks and best regards.
