Good on you Shane for cleaning up the junk you find whilst detecting even your cigarette butts too. The Australian bush is covered in all sorts of junk which has been left over the past two hundred years or so most of it is trash but sometimes you come across some treasure pieces. Here in the US we find lots of scrap on the beach's, in the woods relic hunting colonial and civil war sites and in town hunting the older yards and parks. We always recycle our scrap. It doesn't take long for it to start adding up to be gas money. Cheers mate. happy hunting.

A few extra dollars towards the fuel is always handy. The coins and jewelry generally cover the costs of relic hunting eventually and the scrap metal is just bonus money plus cleaning up the environment so winning all round.. Cheers Rodder

Love you work, mate. Take all the crap and bin the worthless bits and save anything else. I need to look up how to best handle ammunition as it is a frequent pain in the arse when detecting regardless of your intended target.

When I was looking for gold jewelry I was filling up my rubbish bag twice a night with bottle caps and other junk. Lots of rubbish but treasures hiding amongst it 🍻👍🏽
