I think if it was second-hand, taking it apart 100% the first time only is justified, you have no clue were it was stored, etc. Then use this method.

Using dough to clean the machine is only done BEFORE using the machine for the first time. The dough removes any machine oil from the factory. After first use, follow the directions of the video, just don't use the dough.

Hi! Maybe you got a defective unit.

I unscrewed the sides and pulled the clips out, then they released easily. I think the video creator has a newer model
