This is the one set I bought to uni with me for final year. It’s genuinely gorgeous and as someone who isn’t a huge fan of displaying Lego, I still love having it out. Looks brilliant in my room with my incense burners and tapestries

I was able to build this from parts I have in my collection, and it's a really neat vehicle. Definitely unlike any I've built so far. I had to sub in different colours, the lunch buckets now hold flowers, lightning charms adorn the rear wedge plates, and I bodged a different front wheel assembly, but apart from that? Wicked. Monkie Kid is clinging on to the upright for dear life. It's roomier than I expected; that rear seat area would be great for cargo as well as passengers. The grill assembly is lovely. Man, is there anything SNOT can't do?

I bought that set just because I was in the Lego Store, and it looked so unique. It still sits on my desk. I don't ave the heart to part it out. There will always be space for it.

Great video! I never picked this set up but I once saw someone put the main characters from SpongeBob on the Tuk Tuk and it looked really cool!

Question for for next Q&A: How did you know which bricks were available in which colors? Does LEGO have an equivalent of Studio's Brick Palette codenamed "2022 inventory"?

Plz make a video on super robot, that’s my favorite Lego set from 2022. I love the colors the personality and all 3 alt builds. It was the first time I saw a creator set be sold out at my local Lego store

I got back into Lego in 2022 and this Tuk-tuk along with the race car were some of the first sets i bought. It's already kinda nostalgic

This sets is one of the best small Lego sets I like all the fun and colorful details Is this set in the creator line or creator 3 in 1? I never quite figured out how it works
@Tubeside
@Tubeside 3 месяца назад
It's under the Creator name, but was made for the Licensing and Extended Line team who do the LEGO sets that are LEGO Store exclusive.

@@Tubeside Interesting So then was creator technically its own small theme? To me it seemed like it was part of the creator expert line (when it was called that), but just not expert

No I guess it is more like sets like the piñata which are unbranded... Except these ones have a brand. Don't try to make sense of it, you'll go mad 🥲

There's one thing that bothers me: LEGO designers get a misb box set of every set they designed and that goes to be released. Good if you are the one star designer that works primarilly on big sets, but then there are designers who are assigned mostly only to design small promotional sets like polybags, GWP and LEGO exclusives (40XXX range) that rarely exceed 200 pieces. Particularly I think of N.K., but she sure isn't the only one. Is that fair? After all, small sets are super important as they keep interest in the product alive for small budget! Your thoughts?

I have thoughts, but I'll save them for Q&A #3 ;)

@@Tubeside Cool, thanks! On that occasion, can you please tell how assignment works and if there is any rotation between teams?
