Damn, your way of a doublelift is the exact method I taught myself a week ago after I had a different "easy" doublelift that wasn't so clean. The great advantage is that it looks almost exact as a single push-over. I do the lift between middle and ring finger since a bottom deal will use the exact same finger movements
Love ur videos bro. Love ur way of teaching. I like the first double lift actually more, cuz it reminds me of the Stuart Gordon one. What do u think about that one anyway? I like the convincer with the card turn around actually really much. Just found u on insta ❤️keep up the good work. I'm learning alot through u 👌 The second double lift u show is actually the first one I learned and I don't like it so much 😂😅 Picking up the card is in my opinion a much better convincer. But that are just my thoughts 😅 Going to learn now ur fist double lift😂 Love from Switzerland ❤️❤️✌️
The Stuart Gordon double is very nice. And I think as long as you enjoy and master your double lift, just stick with it. I’m glad you were able to find me on insta! Glad to have you as part of the community!
This is a very good double lift. It‘s almost the same as mine, I do it like jon kamm, but it works exactly the same way. Recently I‘ve been looking at the two card pushover with a break (asad taught it), the steward gordon double, which I sometimes do because it is simply better for some tricks and the double lift using the ringfinger to squeeze two cards and push out the air, which allows for a VERY fair turnover. Currently I‘m trying to learn the normal pushover double lift with the french turnover convincer.
The push off double lift looks so good, but it is so hard to do. Magicians like Alex Pandrea makes it look so easy. I tried so hard to learn that, but I sucked at it so I gave up 😂. The double lift that you're doing is the "strike" double lift. I like this DL a lot because it's the only one I know. 😂. What I like about the STRIKE DL is that there's no "get ready" and it is rather easy to learn and master.
@@CardMechanic Hi there, thank you for this tutorial, I can't wait to start working on it. Like you I have tried (may be not long enough) to learn the push over DL with Alex Pandrea's method but I failed. I would like to ask you a question. As your video is now 3 years old , have you evolved you DL in any way or are you stuck indefinittly to it ? Thank you for your attention and your answer. Great job !
I’ll usually do the book double like you but for about 2 years I’ve been practicing the David Blaine double lift without a pinky count or pinky break same for the push over double with no break. the pinky count is by far my most hated move in sleight of hand I just wanna grab the cards I need so for years I’ve been perfecting that skill 😂😂😂
