Not take away from this artist, but we must demystify drawing, it is logical, and if you work logically, you can achieve this without any effort at all
@@yuko13371it is. And you don’t even need these support wheels for beginners like loomis method, it’s just getting a feel for how faces are constructed by observing people. You basically can reconstruct a face just from an eye. It’s all mathematics and geometry. The rest is fine tuning based on attributes if a person is thin, normal or fat as an elephant.
everyone is capable of doing this! but instead of practicing we‘d rather watch videos of other people doing it :) great job, the moment when she gets her character is amazing❤
Haven’t drawn nothing really project ish since high school.. I just recently picked it back up now in my early 40’s it’s fun & relaxing especially realistic coloring w/color pencils
I'm 40 and just started. Absolutely loving it. No one taught me how much fun learning each individual concept would be. I just assumed you learn by practicing the final piece.
Andrew Loomis!...Some beautiful paintings he did as magazine illustrations displayed in a small art supply store outside Hollywood (can't remember the name - only fine arts supplies). The girl told me her father owned the store and Loomis bought all his supplies there. She said he was always broke and ran an ongoing tab with her good natured dad who appreciated his talent. One day he pulled up in his station wagon jam packed with stuff in the back. Loomis explained the stuff was a bunch of commissioned paintings crowding his studio and he was on his way to the dump t5o throw them away. Her dad was aghast and said he'd gladly take all the paintings. There was at least 15 fairly large works lined up around thee store near the ceiling. I asked her about the books he wrote - which I myself learned from...at the time...(1998-99) she said they werte thinking about another run as her father was given the publishing rights by Andrew...(Charette??Store is something like that)...Wonderful works! The best and most thorough instruction...Tip-Top!!! A treat to see if they're still there...!
I’ve always said you can tell the level of the drawer by the sound. I know it seems weird, but the experienced drawer almost never even lifts the pencil from the paper. You can hear the confidence in the speed of the mark making.
😂 my family is so poor that my parents can't even buy me a crayola during my young age.. it's like $1.2... i'm in a third world country anyway.. one upon a time i also dream of improving my drawing. it's use to be so fun expressing my self as a child.. i'm now more than a calendar..😂 but still can't stop being facinated by the minds of artist that are able to draw what they see..
I hate people who draw like this cause at that point it’s like you’re drawing with a tutorial drawing is meant to be imagination and flow idk it’s not organic
The loomis head, as many a drawing structures, is a deliberate process with steps that serve a purpose, it is key to identify which elements and how they work to make it intuitive through practice.
