as a freelancer in digital art/student, narealize ko din if hindi ka committed sa pagffreelance: learning about the job, making your own portfolio, exposure (dito ako nahirapan hahahah) and your willingness to take risks (me buying a budget drawing tablet) walang mangyayari sayo. kakasimula ko palang maghanap ng clients 2 months ago, pero binuild ko porfolio ko for more than 4 months prior worth it naman sakin since naoptimize ko oras ko in earning self income, kahit maliit man yan, kaysa sa wala akong ginagawa sa bahay during pandemic + sinuwerte lang, nagkaroon ako ng first client a few days after watching this makes me more inspired to work harder :) you deserve more subs!

There were times na clients come and go, it's heartbreaking, in freelancing there is no permanent client, but tayong mga Pinoy, we stand up kahit anong hirap, kaya once you get a client, alagaan natin sila and treat their company as yours, embrace it and never stop learning :)

This is true. Freelancing is getting bigger which means more competition to find employers. Andyan rin ung mga sobrang low magpa rate so the employers are gonna take them. Better to have % of your salary on investing. Learn from us old folks since this is based of our own experience

This is really helpful since I still am a High school student and most of my skills I taught myself and learned from online and other people. So, this is really helpful for me too not just to earn money but to also start being independent because I have parents who are really greedy and kind of neglectful, while I understand them not spending too much money on what I wish for on christmas, etc.. I feel like I at least deserve a bit of a present for all my hard work that's why I plan to do online courses as a future side job (because I still wanna do nursing or health care in some way) and I do have a passion for teaching people and educating them speaking as a student, I still am grateful I at least was privileged to attend a private school in the Philippines because most are really messed up they have a lot of issues. I plan on doing online courses as a side job by the time I turn 19 I have a lot of knowledge for certain topics which can be video editing, science course, English course (language), therapy course, etc... I'm not that well knowledged in Mathematics or harder subjects that have good benefits but I do not doubt my own skills and how I can benefit from them.

Its true that when we start from scratch in freelancing, we tend to be law-balling other freelancers. On my younger years in freelancing, I intentionally did that to gain more experience.the more clients I get, the greater my portfolio would be. Also, to newbies, never shy enough to try and apply even your experience isnt enough, coz there employers and mentors our there that would embrace you and take you in. Never afraid to LEARN something new. Running 20years in freelancing and with family already and here I am… nagkakautang parin 🤣 Help! Hahahaha

Its most likely a scam. Pag paypal yung method of payment ni client, WALA kang babayaran. RECEIVE ka lang talga. Bigay mo sa kanila yung paypal email mo tas sila papadala sayo.. tas withdraw mo into your bank account or sa gcash. Mag ingat sa nanghihingi ng pera before sending your salary.. most likely SCAM yan.

@@hahahaha8700 madami akong pinasahan. Pero yung matino yung sa upwork. Then yung linkedin. Gawa ka ng profile mo at lagay mo portfolio links mo dun. Marami kasing client na bigatin dyan. Marami ring recruiters. Just FYI, sa recruiters, mag ingat. Dapat alamin mo ang offered rate ng client na inioffer ng recruiter. Middleman kasi kadalasan sa kanila. Meron din nman, sila magpasa ng client sayo tas kayo na ng client mag deal after. Pero most of the time midman sila dahil dyan sila kikita.

Saw your video and we had the same situation, currently online tutor ako and I am underpaid. ☹️ Totoo yung para ka nang nagwowork ng full-time even part-time lang talaga yung pagtututor. Kaya I'm searching for Virtual Assistant jobs online and registered through various freelancing groups on Facebook and websites to aid my tuition for the upcoming semester. Mahirap mag freelance lalo na kapag VA tapos wala kang experience. 2yrs na ako gumawa ng account sa onlinejobsph at fiver and upwork pero until now wala parin akong client

I started online freelancing back 2013 part time lang. di pa ganon ka broad or kalaki ang industry ng freelancing sa pinas that time so self taught talaga ako kasi di pa masyaado available ang mga "mentors". na scam pako nun ng $25 haha kala ko talaga legit yung mga email processor churva. buti 2015 nagka fulltime client ako na asa marketing firm. No experience ako pero pinagtyagaan kong aralin lahat. di ako marunong gumamit ng google suite as in from scratch lahat. advice ko sa gustong sumabak sa online freelancing is magbasa at magkaron ng initiative to learn. maganda sa foreign clients is they give you an opportunity or chance as long as nakikita nila willing to learn ka and marunong tumanggap ng constructive criticism

Sana all mabait ang boss. ang boss ko medyo kuripot tas sa araw ng sweldo pinapatagal pa mga ilang araw pa. kaya d ma iwasan na ma tamaan ng katamaran. kakainis nakaka sira ng budget. yung alam mong may pera sya tas matagal lng talago sumahod dahil sa ka kuripot. kaya imbis na masipag, natutu ako ng katamaran. kaya dinadaan ko nalang sa Dios para d ako tuloyang maging tamad at maging matino din ang client ko. . .. . . Good job sa pag share mo ng experience mo miss. wag na wag kayo magpadala sa sama ng loob dahil baka ma huli kau ng katamaran. based sa experience ko lng. advantage din kasi pag nirefer ka syempre di na ganon ka taas yong expectation knowing that nirefer ka ng taong naka build na ng trust and relationship sa client na nirefer sayo. Ganyan mga kakilala ko lalo na sa mga nag work sa BPO Industry may mga colleague sila na nirefer nalang sa kanila ang client meron din na sa family nila ni rerefer ang client kaya fortunate pag ganon. Pag wala kang referrer suntok sa buwan at dadaan ka talaga sa butas ng karayom. Kung walang experience much better mag enroll sa mga credible platforms na naka establish na ng authority

Videos like this keeps me going to still keep looking for opportunities and remote job even though 6months na along naghahanap ng client. I will come back here once I start earning.
