Hey! Good to see someone talk about it. VSCO is so simple and atmospheric! It's like you can have your own secret world... I was so surprised to see my childhood town (small town in Eastern Ukraine) to be included in a few photos on VSCO. (The town being tagged in VSCO was a sensation to me.) (I have been living in Canada for the past 13 years.) Comparing VSCO and Instagram, is like comparing a small, but cozy library with no Wifi and a tiny coffee shop where everyone won't use their phones while fully being immersed in the world of reading, ( there is one in Amsterdam) versus an enormous, overrated library in the middle of some of the largest cities in the world, where there is Wifi with all kinds of eateries and way too many people. (So many folks, it's even hard to find a spot to sit.) I feel like to best way to get VSCO followers, is to have a decent and/or popular Instagram and/or any other social media, and link your VSCO page, rather than through VSCO itself. If that makes sense. (Of course, most people would have to create a page to follow you, while other might already have it.) And have my sub!
Love this analogy! All these tools are just that... tools! Use them as you see fit. It's not about one being better or cooler or superior to the other.
