To create amimations, instead of exporting pngs and then adding them in premiere, you can press "cmd+t" to create a timeline in photoshop and create the animation there. After that: cmd+alt+shift+s save for web as a GIF and import that in premiere. TADAAAAA!
@@TheBlissBean No problem! :) I`ve been editing for over 10 years, so feel free to get in touch if you have any other question and want to do a quick call. You could make another video with some tips I could give you :)
So trie! I use a free editing program called sptcut. Not guna lie...it isn’t intuitive but it has lots and lots of cool editing stuff packed in,....but it just takes longer in my opinion..or maybe not bc ive only tried imovie lol
You can just clap at the beginning of filming and recording audio to make it easier to sync the two files after importing. Should save you time in the future!
Or if you are using Premiere Pro you can Shift and click on both the video and audio file > right click > click on Synchronise > Mix Down and voila it will synchronise the audio and video for you automatically!
i love how transparent and precise you are in explaining the stuff you do. once i get a new faster laptop and get better with my editing and photography, it's probably because of your videos. ♡
Someone told me to clap when I first start with the video and it's been so easy to get audio and video synced now! Because the spikes are super clear :)
How can I give this video a LOVE instead of a simple like????!!!! Thank you SO much, this was exactly what I was looking for and I am SO GLAD that youtube recommended it because I led me to YOUR CHANNEL that I am LOVING (binging).
Using the phone as the mic is probably the best hack ever as the quality is so nice. 🙌 usually I count in 3-2-1 to easier sync the audio and video whilst editing
This is literally THE best editing guide I've ever come across on RU-vid. You're amazing! And I'm so happy it's not for Final Cut Pro (even though I'm still going to watch your video on that) because not everyone uses a Mac lmao. (I'm not using Premiere Pro either but I appreciate this video.) I'm definitely a loyal subscriber now. Thank you!
I'm currently in the process of posting videos here, on YT, but I have this weird anxiety about my editing process and seeing other creator's actual process is actually pretty relieving. Thanks for this!
hands down this is the most understandable and useful editing video ive watched on youtube! i edit on premiere too and i learned so many shortcuts/tips here that i didnt even know premiere had, its blowing my mind 😅thank you for this!!
This is the most helpful Premiere Pro Editing video ever!!! I used to edit on my phone and now I want to make my editing better with Premiere Pro because my college gives us a Creative Cloud discount.
@The Bliss Bean, am so glad I stumbled upon your channel, love the way you teach, your voice is so refreshing. It's that old saying, "when the student is ready, the teacher appears." learned a ton from this video, keep inspiring us.
Try exporting your animation file as a PSD and importing that in Premiere. This gives you a control over layers and saves you time rather than exporting separate PNGs of each layer.
Just found your channel and have absolutely no idea why you don't have more subscribers! Love the effort you put into your videos and editing, and your content is just up my alley. Was thinking to start a channel, but now seeing the amount of work you've put in and why you aren't famous, I'm feeling super discouraged lol. Regardless, your channel is great and I have faith you will grow so fast in time to come :)
I don’t know why I never thought about this but the extra audio from your phone is the SMARTEST thing ever. I’ve been having problems with my audio recently and I feel like this is going to take my videos to the next level. Thank you so much! New subscriber☺️
THIS IS INCREDIBLE I HAVE LEARNED STUFF THAT I DIDN'T KNOW WHERE TO FIND .. AND U SHOWED THEM AND EXPLAINED THEM IN SUCH A SIMPLE AND INTERESTING WAY !!! I'M SO HAPPY THAT I SAW THIS VIDEO !!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING IT .. U R AMAZING !!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
For everyone stressing about video editing software - look into DaVinci Resolve! It's free and a lot of companies actually even use it for feature films (pretty sure Marvel does). You have everything in one place - from the basic editing to sound design, special effects and colour grading. If you like the doodle effect, you can do it in this program as well in the special effects tab (called fusion in the program). If you have an iPad you can connect it to your laptop and mirror the screen so you can draw directly on the frames of the film which allows you to have a live preview of how it's going to look like in the film. It's a bit complicated at first to learn, but I've been using it for almost 3 years for my film degree at uni and I absolutely love it!
I'm a huge fan of all kinds of "How To" videos and tbh this was the most clean and well explained video i have seen till now. Took just half a video for me to subscribe and make me a fan! 😌
11:12 You dont have to scale your video manually There an option to adjust to screensize any video u import Just right click on the video you want to scale to screensize then chose "adjust to frame size!" Easy peazy!
I've been looking up so many ways to use a microphone with the Canon g7x mark ii and never thought to use my phone. I'm posting my first video Sunday and this has been the best help! And saved me sooo much money!! Thank you so so much 🥰
Real informative and straight to the point....Dont think you care about the glare in your glasses from the window, but thought I'd mention it....Great video!
I just wanted to let you know that you are one of the few RU-vidrs whose videos I consistently rewatch. I think it's because I know that they'll always inspire me to be productive, and because they are so jam-packed with good information that I'm sure to get a little more with each viewing. Keep up the great work!!
I haven't seen your videos for soooooo long.. finally I don't know what happened but finally... thank you for this video girl your videos are the best, love the clarity of video and edits...
SO EXCITED you explained LUTS and color grading. I’ve been trying to figure out how to add them to my videos for what feels like forever. So pumped to give your way a try. 🙌🏼
someone may have shared this tip already, or by now you may have learned this in premiere, but you can select your audio and the clip you want to sync, and then right click and 'sync'. does it for you automatically. ALSO I just learned a quicker way to cut/slice footage is creating the keyboard shortcut 'f' to cut and it will make things go a lot quicker. as well as utilizing 'q' and 'w' to quickly shave off what you don't want from the left or right of the footage you just cut. it will remove everything up to the sliced footage or end of the footage. hopefully that makes sense lol. Thanks for the vid, always looking for inspo on creative editing!
I have to agree with how tired one can get when editing. When I first started editing as a job, I didn't take breaks as much. I would always crash on the sofa when I get home. I noticed after a long time that I wasn't, or my body wasn't, doing so well. Amazing video! Awesome content! Stay safe!
Girl you're so amazing, i have been dyinggg from listening to so many professionals explain how to colour grade. You made it so simple and fun to understand. Thanks a bunch! ♡
Oh, you're going to LOVE Final Cut Pro X! --I switched from Adobe Premiere Elements a couple of years ago and the thing that I REALLY like is that Final Cut Pro X has an automation to match up audio to video. It's so simple and makes like THAT much easier. I appreciate you sharing your process with us. :)
@@TheBlissBean I wasn't great at Adobe Premiere Elements, so I was ready to switch and once I found out that it synched up audio and video with a snap, I was sold. Took some time two days ago to learn more ways to use it faster and with more of the bells and whistles. Loved your video. You inspired me. Thanks, again. :)
YT suggested your video, and finally something easy and non difficult techniques to learn from you. Even though you look so calm, the effort of 12 hours on editing, is tuff, I have been there so many time. Great job on you channel in the first 10 sec I pressed subscribe :D
this is great- I want to make documentaries and short films one day- I am just watching this for youtube editing, but I am learning that a lot of stuff I am learning for youtube stuff is really helpful. Thanks!
whenever u have problems to match the video and the audio, just clap with your hands near the camera and your phone, so when you edit you could easily find the clap action + the big wave on the waveform and sincro the image with the sound.
I love the hard work you put into video editing! I recently edited first ever igtv for instagram so it's definitely made me appreciate youtubers like you a lot more! Keep up the good work love 💛
Sweet video! It's always fun to see how fellow creators are structuring their workflow and getting ideas from it! Plus, your community is amazing and they commented some valuable tips that I didn't know about and will surely add to my workflow! Greetings from Mexico! 🙂
I have just come across your video here as part of a RU-vid recommendation. Thank you for sharing your work process. I do appreciate you taking the time to do this. Very useful.
Love your vid! I have a little tip for your audio - you can clap your hands or make a really loud sound when you record on both your camera and phone, when you make that loud sound it will create a spike in your audio waveforms, then you can sync them a lot faster and easier 😊 This technique is used on film sets where they use the clapper board to create a spike.
I can’t get over your editing skills🤩 This was super helpful and inspiring!! Your knowledge about editing is super awesome 💕 I’m hoping to start a RU-vid channel soon where I do lifestyle/ productivity videos!
an easy way to do the wiggle text is by using the turbulent displace effect and setting the amt to 10-15 and writing the expression 'time*20' on the randomizer thingie!!
I literally just download Premiere Pro yesterday after purchasing my laptop. I've only gotten the basics down but thanks to you and all these tips, I'm even more excited to start video editing. Thank you so much for this!!! Also sorry for breaking angel number 777 of your comments. It's now at 778 after me commenting :/
This video currently has 4.8K views. I feel like this is one of those videos that’ll blow up later. Amazing work btw. Thank-you for sharing the wealth of knowledge & love the chosen aesthetic. 💛
The tutorial on the animation is all I was looking for. I would almost suggest to cut this out and make it its own quick tutorial, so many people will be thankful for it :D Thanks for the tips. It made my life much easier and videos more fun 🤩
Thank you so much for this video ! I am a beginner in video editing and it will help so much ! And a huge thanks to everybody in the comments too for the bonus tips ! 👏 👌👌
IVE JUST STARTED WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS AND BELIEVE ME IF I SAY I REALLY / LIKE REALLY LOVE THE QUALITY AND THE CONTENT. i'm jealous on how u keep your videos so aesthetically pleasing 🥺 i'm subscribing you with my three accs here on yt
The "spikey thing" is called a wave form! You can clap at the beginning of your recording when all devices are recording then you will have a massive peak to match up to. Good job on your vids.
Just a little tip for matching the video with the audio: you can clap at the beginning of every take and then you have a peak in the audio waves as an orientation
