All those 'youre so lucky' comments.. I go on a trip every year and my friends all say they are jealous and wish they could go but I'm always like ".... well why cant you" and they never have a good answer! or they say money.. but if they would just stop buying starbucks every single morning and getting 80 dollar manicures every week or whatever else is unnecessary-- they would be able to afford a nice trip at the end of the year.. If someone wants to travel, THEY WILL! no matter the budget or the circumstance! if you want it, you will find a way! And also to me theres no such thing as "luck".. luck is the ability to recognize opportunities and be open to taking those chances!
Exactly!!! I get those same comments from friends or people accusing me of having a trust fun. I’m like “I freaking wish!” Haha. But yeah, if you make travel a priority then it can happen and you’ll make the money appear for it. I believe we can do anything we set our minds to.
Not everyone is as privileged as you. Some of us have responsibilities we can't walk away from. A vacation is a luxury that not everyone is able to afford.
The only problem with traveling and camping for me is when I wake up in the morning and starts to think as if how am I gonna start my day without taking a shower and attending a toilet 🤣

After lockdown u hasnt uploaded so many videos,i have watched ur channel from first trip to upto now. I felt bad for u ,struck in other country in this lockdown with so many problems with pandemic restrictions. Hopefully u are doing great poppy. Love ur positive outlook towards life. Finally watching this now! Honestly, you are still one of the most positive people I know even during this pandemic. I have struggled hard to accept since I really do miss the old normal. However, I have finally been thinking of ways I can still live my best and travel even with the hard circumstances. I explored all of Australia to my heart's desire. I even made it to Singapore when an opportunity came about. These are things I would never have expected back in March. Yes, I can't wait until I can explore Southeast Asia, but instead of waiting until those countries open, I plan to head home and make some money to truly restart my travels, and I plan to start in countries that other are currently visiting! I believe I can do the most to salvage this hard time, and I am glad you are doing the same!

youre clearly missing the point of why people say "youre lucky" its not that they dont want to go live in a van or travel or be free...its just that most people have certain responsibilities. even if one doesnt have a family, they have jobs and bills and a life that they cant just pick up and take off from, which actually begs the question...how are you able to sustain yourself financially through this?
I found a way to support myself financially through my online work so yes, I do understand what they are saying and still disagree. I found away to take care of my responsibilities while still traveling. You can do anything you set your mind to if you believe.
You are kinda taking the saying your so lucky to literally people also say this when they mean how great it would be to be more like you to act like you to think like you to dream like you to travel like you to be be brave like you to feel like you to care like you in other words YOU ARE SO LUCKY TO BE YOU because you are one amazing human being.
Poppy you are absolutely blessed with luck to be able to go on these trips. Some of us have responsibilities and families that count on us and most of us could never afford such a luxury.

You learn what work for you and your channel, your audience over time. The more you create the more practice and the better you get!
