I never thought I would stumble upon a member of Little Angels. The wonder of RU-vid algorithm 😁. I remember “Product of the Working Class" music video, which I watched on VHS 😄. I still remember your awesome big hair too.

More or less taught me guitar with one scale and a AC/DC cover in his spare room . With about four lessons . A valuable lesson in grass roots ability over academia and text book . Love,y bloke , great hair and patience of a saint .

You are so correct!!! This has been my experience, the most stressful moments in my life have been when I was “successful”.

This really touched me.. I am a classically trained singer, studied in conservatories, also I am a professional voice coach and then at 27 had a break down, decided I didn't love opera but I loved writing music. So I created a band and set out to find my own voice with my own words and its been quite a ride so far. I know I started this game a lot later than most but I won't let that hold me back. I love listening to people like you who inspire , I look forward to following you and the school!

BJD, this is the best thing I've ever seen on RU-vid. We met in Brighton back sometime between 2000 & 2003 when I was the singer of The Lords. It was either at The Wellington in Kemptown or in The Lanes at another pub, with Captain Sensible & Brian James I think. Anyway, I'm happy to have found your channel here by way of Victory. Best wishes for continued success. SM

Well analyzed, shared & said, Water ‘Bruce’ Bear. ‘Success’ can be SO relative. By mine opinion, keeping the bills paid on time is the elixir of ‘Success’. And, then, advice of a radio pal in L.A., that I should stop banging my head vs. the wall of auditioning for a multiple way perpetual dishes tossing argument that nobody ever wins, (known by most as a ‘Band’), & build myself up as a solo artist. Still working on that, lol. Grunge cleaned my clocks, also. Ppphhhhtt.... THX for your advise! 🦡🥃⚡️ Be Very Well.

Great video. Bruce is an inspiring guy. One thing I find amusing though with the whole ‘Grunge changed things overnight’ belief. Whilst it is true that grunge changed things, it was in fact a lot more gradual. Nevermind was released in September 1991 and the Little Angels had a UK No.1 album in January 1993! The grunge revolution wasn’t as instant as people now seem to remember.

Doesn’t this tell one everything they need to know about the irrelevance of “insider” opinions? When the intelligentsia are so out of touch with the consumer that everything they think is important has no relationship to what the people want?
