TikTok probably shouldn't be banned. It should just have a kids mode so that parents who want it to be banned can control TikTok.

I don't think so from a constitutional perspective. I think tik tok is dangerous and is a safety risk for reasons like Chinese law allowing the government to get info from all chinese companies, but i think banning it sets a dangerous precedent of violating the right to freedom of speech. If social media platforms can just be banned bc the federal government thinks they're dangerous, maybe in the future that gives them an excuse to ban platforms that criticize the government or smth like that. Again, i don't think tik tok is safe, but based on the First Amendment, i think banning it outright is also dangerous and vilolates the constitution. I would support the government taking action to get the chinese parent company to sell it to a non-chinese company though. Great question, and i think everyone is entitled to their own opinion at the end of the day.

depends some would say yes or no. There is reasons it should but the they are just user based so i would say no it should not be ban but more monetized. racer/aafewq12
