I have hashimotos and my derm prescribed minoxidil 2.5mg orally and my brows and scalp hair are finally growing back. Not trying to give medical advice but it's been great for my case to combat post covid and autoimmune/inflammatory factors that lead to my hair loss. Such a transformative video! I need to start priming my eyelids using this technique!

Great tutorial, Mandy! My spoolie came loose also so I just dabbed the end in epoxy and popped it back in. I used to use ABH gel and made the switch to Elf. It’s the same formula, imo. I think it’s $6

I also have hypo thyroid and my lashes have definitely thinned, but I also have some gray ones popping in. I have been known to use Men’s mustache dye to color them and I also trim the ones that sometimes don’t cooperate. This was very informative and helpful. Thanks Mandy 😊

You do a great job Mandy. This used to be me too before l finally went and got mine tattooed a few years ago now,honestly the best thing l’ve done for myself. It’s so lovely to wake up with brows! A skilled artist can do delicate hairstrokes for you,and once they’ve healed you can decide to adjust darkness or shape etc. For me,with oily skin,they fade after about 18 months but even faded they give a template for my pencil or powder,then l just get them touched up.Really worth it in my opinion.

Agreed. I had mine done a few years back and loved it. Have the slightest line still but mostly gone. Not in the budget to do it again. She was on the West Coast and I moved away.

As you get older, you’ll find that the ends of your brows start to thin and can turn grey or blonde/white. So this tutorial is very helpful. Thanks Mandy!

Thank you! I have people ask me all the time why I don't do that, and it boils down to me just being scared. The brows are the most important part of the face, and I have had clients in the past with botched jobs, so I am not sure if I will ever be able to bring myself to do it. But I love that others love it and have had such good luck!

@@MandyDavisMUA l understand completely.lt is very noticeable when it’s done terribly.l overcame my fear by doing a lot of research to find an artist,seeing pictures of their work and reading client reviews,and finally speaking with the artist themself to make sure they understood exactly what l was after.Unfortunately l’m in Australia so can’t recommend anyone for you,but I promise you Mandy it’s one of the best things you can do for yourself xo

Ha Ha Ha...I wish I only had a few grey/white eyebrow hairs!! The only way I have eyebrows/lashes is to put stuff on them. I just use close to my old color. Loved this video. I needed this instruction.😊

Thanks for this excellent video, Mandy. I've primarily used ABH products, but the Sigma Clean Up and Highlight pencil looks amazing. I use Sigma's stick eyeshadow base primer in "Ignite" to cover up discoloration on my lids and it's great. It's amaing what a difference filling in the brows and covering up discoloration on the lids can make--especially for those of us who are older.

Lovely! Question: if you do brows before foundation, how do they not smear? My tip - because my brows were over plucked in the center - is to use a eye primer on my brows so my pencil adheres to my skin better. I have brown hair, so I can get away with it. 😉

I am careful not to apply my hands or brush or sponge near the brow when I apply the foundation. If I have to use a smaller precision brush around them, I will, but I rarely have to do that. Great tip about the primer!

Yes, I used to use Omega shadow, and I likely will again. I just ran out and the Sigma is something I had that works well too. 😀

I am 68. I am five weeks into not coloring my hair anymore, medium brown. But my brows are still on the darker side, more toward soft black, even though they are thinning because of my age. So I am not sure as to what shade of brow powder or brow, pencil, I should be using. any suggestions? I’ve been using charcoal brow powder by Clinique, because that is the closest shade, even though a little too late for my still dark brows. And of course I have a few gray brows popping up

@@MandyDavisMUA oh ok. I ordered the complexion stick in Linden. and one lipstick. Praying I love them both since they don’t have a great return policy. UNUSED AND UNOPENED. Makes no sense. How are you suppose to know if it works!!!
