You are extremely creative and resourceful. I am a diehard May May fan. I even have a folder in my favorites that says May May where I keep all your RU-vid videos. No I'm not a creepy stalker. I just love the way you are very casual in your videos and it doesn't feel like I'm watching my telephone it feels like I'm crafting with a friend. Earlier today I watched your card making video from June 2014 using the flower punch board and then I went to Michaels and bought the flower punch board. I can't wait to make the cards. I'm making a composition book journal for my 78 yr old mom. I have three rooms full of crafting stuff but never knew where to start with papercrafting. Now i do...one video at a time lol. Thanks for sharing Grandma cindy
cynthia webb Thank you so much, I am so glad you enjoy crafting with me. My desire is to inspire others to be able to craft, not show things that are not "do-able." I am thrilled you are stepping out and giving it a go! I would love to see your creations. Maybe you could join our Facebook group at facebook.com/groups/598467710263772/ and show us once you've finished!
I thought I had the wrong person's channel until while searching for the "How I film" video -- I have a smart TV, while you can watch videos, you can't leave comments, like/dislike, subscribe, etc., so I had to switch to the computer and go to your channel -- I found the project, the upcycled box from your husband's office, which I love -- triple R to the max -- reduce, reuse, recycle -- but that person says they have grandchildren, and you are obviously too young for grandchildren -- is that how you refer to the kids because of your mother, who is adorable btw -- it doesn't even seem possible you have children old enough to not live at home, because you talk about them coming home like for a holiday or the weekend .... if so, please share that secret, too -- we Southern Women have to stick together -- : ) -- cheers, Patricia
Wanting to get started doing some videos so thanks so so much! Love your accent and how you get to the point. Love all your work!!! Lisa retired RN in Mcloud ok!
Wow! Love this and appreciate you showing us! I've been trying to figure out how to do with what I have. Going to tell the hubby I need to go to Walmart today hee hee! Thank you so much! Big hugs, Sunni
Thank you very much for sharing this!!I don't have much money allocate to buying tech stuff so this really helps me to think outside the box and make do with what i have and still produce good quality videos. Thanks again!
I love this! I really enjoyed seeing how you have your camera set up. I too have a cybershot by sony and I love it. I got it just a few Christmases ago and I just love it. Mine does film in 1080p so it must be a bit more recent of a model. I thought that was pretty cool though. Sometimes I would like to film some stuff I do so I'm gonna take some tips from you. Thanks for sharing! Big Hugs!! Reeah.
Well, shut the front door. Leave it to a Southern Woman to come up with an easy, inexpensive method for filming overhead. I'm hoping to launch my channel in about a month, and camera angles are a bear ! So, I was searching different tutorials, and they all involved very expensive cameras, with all this different equipment -- long arms, some actually anchor or tie two legs of their tri-pod to something heavy and lean it over their work; none of those an option for me -- I have a wonderful new Nikon smart click or something -- I had an earlier version which I loved, and more importantly, knew how to operate -- but I dropped it with the lens extended -- bye bye Nikon -- but I learned I can plug in headphones with a mic and it works -- but, the sound quality with the camera is great, I think -- we visted "Waltons Mt." and it captured the sounds of the Rockfish Creek gurgaling behind us -- I even brought my son in to show him, as he will be the sound stage engineer -- ha -- I had thought about using one of the bent-neck lamps for lighting, but couldn't figure out how to mount it -- duh ! thanks so much for sharing !!!
I enjoyed watching your video! I saw it just when I needed too. I keep forgetting to buy a tripod when I go to the store and I want to film a craft tutorial but, it's hard to hold the camera in one hand and do the craft in the other!
Thank u for this. I so want to start doing polymer clay tutorials but I don't have a camera. I have an iPod. I want to know how to do editing so I don't have to have a 2 hour video when I'm making something involved. So I am going to look for videos on that. Thanks again. Love your videos
I love this video, Amy! I'd love to do videos someday, but my nails are a mess from a life-long bad habit that I've been trying to break for years, and I'd need a new camera that does video. It's on my bucket list, though, and your video really helped encourage me, as always. Love you, girlfriend!
I was watching your new upload of your new craft room (btw, I❤ YOUR NEW RUG) and when done googled "how to make a camera desk shot" ann your video came up in my search, I just needed to say that you're pretty amazing can you come a long way my love it doesn't have to be pretty it just has to function that is so my motto. Thanks honey so much for the tips and tricks I think you are a genuine real wonderful person and a really great teacher.
This is awesome! I want to film some flip through and things for crafting and my bookstore. Now I have some ideas. I only have a false ceiling so I will have to get creative, the train will probably cause some wiggles lol.
Hi Maymay! I know this is a little off topic but I was wondering if you and your mom could possibly do a home tour for how you both decorate for easter this year? If not no biggie. Have a nice day :)
Lorina Wells I will ask her if she is decorating for spring. Some times she does and sometimes she doesn't. I don't have a lot of spring stuff right now. I will film if she decorates though! Thanks for asking!
No problem girlfriend. My husband and I are Bama fans with a daughter that is an 2004 Auburn graduate! The child went astray! lol I fell in love with Auburn University when she was there and I even yelled "War Eagle" at two games....but I confessed my sins later! lol So she has two boys and she is married to a Bammer. So they dress the 4 year old in Bama clothes and her two year old is her official Auburn buddy for now! Nothing like football in Alabama!
Suzanne Light Love it! We have a tiny split in our house, my oldest son, his wife and me are Auburn fans. My hubby and three other boys are Bama fans. We do not discuss football in our house, we avoid a lot of fights that way. It is fun, there is really nothing like Alabama football. Auburn is a beautiful campus, I got to do some work related things around the University of Alabama and I have to say, just being around the campus made me love the rivalry even more. You could feel the excitement in the air.
This is a great video. I have always wondered how you set everything up. Gareth should get one of the hooks that you use. He has been trying to do some adjusting to get everything just right. I think this would help him out a lot.
Judy Humphrey Maybe, I noticed his angle is really good into today's video. He has to work out those bugs, I had them too. But you know what they say, necessity is the mother of invention! Thanks Judy!
Didedi whats new ? Duh! The most important part, I just went ahead and filmed a part two to show how. I really should have put this in the original video, here ya go... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XrKtkImCOHI.html

Great video. Unfortunately, my table is in the middle of the room, so I have to use a small tri-pod. This doesn't give me many options on how to video. Tfs, hugs, Carol
Carol Marie I saw a contraption made from PVC pipe that would work for your set up. It was cheap and easy, I actually made one to use for my wreath making tutorials. I'll try to find it for you....hang on...
***** Thanks, MayMay, I really appreciate it. Doesn't look too hard to make. I'll have to clean my table first to make some extra room. That could take a long time lol. Hugs, Carol
Thanks for demystifying the filming process. How complicated is the editing/posting process? It just seems that you have to be really techy to be a youtuber. Not that I want to do it - but never say never!!
Oh I forgot, going to add trolling to my MayMay-isms I say that aa lot! Do you ever say "gom" "gaum" like a big blob or mess to gom something on top Or this was a bbig gom
You are going to visited by the SECRET police for telling such secrets :) What is your wall? Is that a dry erase board? I see you have cling things stuck there. Thanks for sharing girlfriend...dee
DeeLightful Co It is actually just acetate sheets from some packaging my stamps came in. I like it cause I can get my most used stamps quickly. I know I am telling all the secrets!
