Your set up is so efficient and neat. It's actually nothing too intricate or messy, just a good camera, some lights, a rode mic and a tripod. I've seen some youtubers show their set up and it gives me anxiety just looking at the sheer amount of wires, and tech lying around. It must take so long to get set up too every time with so much clutter! And like you said, this works for you and it's adequate, new youtubers need to remember its not always the equipment you have, but how you make use of what you have. A small ring light, a camera/phone tripod and a cam/phone camera is good enough for most to at least begin with!
You are the real MVP. Thank you so much for this video. I always wondered how RU-vidrs did their makeup. I was sure a mirror was being used but wasn't 100% sure. Thank you so much!
Love your videos, Angela!! Absolutely wonderful!! I have learned so much about eye makeup from your videos. Thank you so much for sharing them with us!! 💖💖💖
Awesome video! I’ve been watching you for years and your quality has always been too notch. And your talent is just crazy! Thank you for sharing and the sponsor placement was perfect! 🧡
What a great video! I’ve been watching your videos for a long time and purchased some of your lashes. I’ve always been a fan of your videos. Keep up the fantastic work 👍🏻💓
I really wish you would make a video on how and where to apply eye shadow. I have a hard time figuring out where to stop when I'm doing like my crease and on the outside I don't know where to stop or how far to go down and be able to make it all go around your eyes. Does that make sense lol BTW your eyes and eye makeup are absolutely beautiful in this video (as per usual) love your videos
@@soft_machine_ then whats the name of the video because no body that I've seen has a video specially telling you how far you should go on the outside of the eye yeah there's tons of videos showing you how they apply it but none that goes into detail like I'm wanting.... cause I feel like I go way too far down on my eyes
I meant specifically* not specially. Im wanting an in depth how and where to apply shadows. How she has the eye shadow going around her whole eye. I don't know where to stop on the outside corner I feel like I apply it to far down. Its kind of hard to explain what I'm talking about LOL
Cool! I’m definitely gonna take notes on this! Leaving your town now! We came for state marching contest at the Alamodome, we saw our kids kick some major ass, and now we’re going home!
Thank you for this video, I found it very interesting to see the set up and all. You do some of the best eye tutorials I have seen, also like the eye look you were wearing in this video as well. Nice job.
Love this video! Thanks. I'd love to see a real time application since I have no clue as to how long to blend shadow. Thanks! So fun to watch your videos!! ❤
This was super cool to see Angela!!!! Can you please do a makeup brush video, with tips and tricks for care of makeup brushes to what each brush is used for to the basic must have brushes!! There are soooo many brushes out there and it would be nice to know care and basics of makeup brushes from someone I trust! 😘
Thank you so much for this, I have discovered by accident that I could do this but i am not good, I'm a makeup lover and nowhere near an artist and i shake but i still try. I love my little RU-vid channel and hoping someday to be able to get it to be my full time job so knowing you were a little nervous yourself at the beginning give ve home thank you 😍💖💖💖💖💖
I also had tried to link my camera to my tablet, which is suposed to work and it just would not so I moved on. The other problem I have is I need reading glasses or a x 5 mirror and I finally got a weird set up in front of e instead sideways. I work with what I have lol, makeup is more important than specialized lights because I'm not special enough for pr lol..
Brilliant video Angela, I have a very curious and analytical mind (it's probably the Virgo in me) so this has been so interesting for me as I didn't realise how technical it is behind the scenes to create a video, it must take so much time to make and upload one of your tutorials. Thank You honey I've really enjoyed watching this video. 🤗⭐
I am so grateful for this video, and I appreciate you sharing your knowledge. I would love to see more!!! As a beginner youtuber, this was also inspiring✨️ Thank You🫶🏾
I love this!! I have the exact same camera but I mostly film with the 100mm macro lens. I def need to get that lens I’ve been wanting it for years!! Thanks for sharing your secrets ❤❤❤
Babe I'm so so greatfull for this video! I really found it interesting and learnt quite a bit... I don't think I'd ever use my phone either as for me it's not good enough quality. Your set up is really great by the way, and I love your one eye tutorials, they set you apart from the rest. Take care hun, Lots of love Tia ❤
This was REALLY helpful. I don't know if I'll ever attempt a makeup video but I really like your setup for the music videos I do. Thank you! I"ve never been able to get the monitor setup either and I have a lower end Canon EOS.
Very nice and informative video thank you. Can you please answer one question which light you use I mean to say bright white setting yellow light settings or the medium ones which contains both of them
Thank you for this! I needed this because I’m (HOPEFULLY) going to film next week! Trying to decide the area in my house and how to set it up lol :) but I appreciate this with the tips so much!!!
I loved this video because I’ve always wondered what ur setup was and how u used your camera and got great lighting so thank you for answering all of my questions lol 😂
Hi Angela!! Wow you are super helpful!! As a new beauty content creator I am nervous about buying the camera/lens you use. I read that it is indeed a professional camera and the learning curve is not nothing!! I want to be able to zoom in however on my eye makeup tutorials as you have shown. Do you have a recommendation on a more beginner friendly camera/leans? I would so appreciate any suggestions you have. I think this tutorial is amazing and you are such a kind and giving person🙏❤ Thank you so much!! Take care Angela, Darlia
Such a great video. Very informative. I got those panel light when you did you room tour. I love them. I have the canon G7X mark 2. But I want to upgrade to the 80D or 90 D
If I’m going to be doing lives on Facebook I was just going to use my phone for my camera. But I can’t zoom in that’s the only problem. I couldn’t figure out the position of like where the phone should be so I could still use my vanity mirror to do my makeup in. Cause it’s hard for me to see in my phone. Would you recommend using a ring light with a cell phone holder attachment in the middle? Or is there a way to use the camera and connect it to Facebook live?
I PRAY u see this in time… but SIGMA is having a sale & I recently bought 2 bundles of brushes. But I need a GOOD packing brush!! Which do u recommend?? ❤️❤️ You have literally taught me SO much!
@@angelaabright I just checked my brushes and I have the E55 in one of my sets!!! 🙌🏼 So I’m good. Thank u & I’m beyond thankful I found ur channel! Have a blessed day! ((:
Really happy to see this video am also a beauty vlogger from Pakistan. Also have the canon camera. I guess i should invest into the lens cox m using the kit lens. Which is fine. But need to upgrade and this video is very helpful. Thanks for sharing this.
Are your lights set up as bright as they can go? What do you use for your white balance settings on camera and lights? I have tried putting my lights brighter and then my products look washed out
Your setup is idyllic I’m not looking around at other stuff I’m actually watching you. I would like for you to send me the link on how to do a fox liner and wing liner, thank you so much 😊
Hi! I love your setup! I’m going to be starting my RU-vid journey soon so this really helped! I’m going to be a beginner. Also, has anyone ever told you that you look like Lindsay Lohan just without the reddish blondiah hair?! FYI, I love Lindsay Lohan!
This was the best information! I've watched you for so long and love your eyeshadow tutorials. I feel like I've learned so much from them. PS the link to the camera lens is broken 😘
Oh my gosh, this was REALLY helpful! Especially like actually seeing what you see ( from your seat ) (lighting placement, etc.) Now, I'm a bit older, you don't need this AT ALL, but do you also use a smoother filter or anything? Just curious.
Great! I have my own channel and am looking for ways to make it more engaging and professional. Thank you for the suggestions and linking everything in your description
That was more interesting than I expected, thanks! Side note - I'm so used to seeing Angela from the front that it was strange to see her face from the side. Anyone else felt like that, or am I just weird?
