This is a great video. There are some others online but the wire colors are totally different -- my '04 E320 Sport Wagon's wires look just like yours. Looks like I've got some splicin' to do!

Will this work in 2006 Mercedes CLS 500 ? I just purchased the car and next morning cars completely dead.

on my wagon, the power connects into a "base" in which several other "things" connect in to. And because I couldn't see wire colors, took a bit of guesswork to get the right one. I only disconnected it to see if that is the draw on my battery. I hope, as it's only 1.5 yrs old and I'd hate to have to keep searching for the problem...and buy a new battery. fingers crossed.

My favorite part about this video is he didnt explain why he spliced the wires together... its called a bandaid and not a repair. I guess people dont understand the level of knowhow it takes to track down a draw on a CAN system.... they probably have the tools in there 2 car garage aswell...
