I remember being scared to go for trims because I was worried they’d cut it too short and ruin all the mehnat I’d done to grow the length of my hair! But over the years, I’ve figured out that trims are so important because they make the hair look healthier and more polished. My introverted self has learnt to speak up and actually say out loud what I want and there have been times when I’ve actually sat in the salon chair giving a fake smile to the hairstylist at the end of the cut pretending it was perfectly all right, while I was crying on the inside 🥲 A tip I should have added besides these is to choose a stylist who you’re comfortable with and who ‘listens’ and isn’t just pointing out the flaws in your hair or asking you to get an X Y Z treatment. This is so important, especially because salons are mostly so busy and heavy on marketing, that rarely does anyone have the patience to listen to you so I always book appointments on less busy days and timings. I also make mental, or sometimes, even a written note so I’m clear on what I want out of the haircut or trim before I head to the salon. It really helps! I feel a good haircut can REALLY add a lot to one’s face structure. It boils down about choosing the right one for yourself. I don’t know what the name of my hairstyle/haircut is but I usually keep the back length the same and ask for texturising or layers in the front/crown area for volume. I’ve had this style for a few years now and I find this easy to maintain too. Let me know if you’ve had any horror stories at the hair salon in the comments? I can’t be the only one haha. - My outfit is purchased from @globalvillageuae Korea stall Bag is @louisvuitton Flats are @dior Salon is Headquarters in Jakarta, Indonesia
This is true. I went to a leading salon in India for a haircut. All they did were shoving up their products and hair treatments citing that my scalp is unhealthy and so on. They never listened to what I said. Ended up spending a lot for their useless filthy hair treatment. Make a mental note or even a written note is not a harm. End of the day it’s our hard earned money:) Have a good day!
I went to a place in Kerala and I am not sure, whether it was miscommunication or the lady hated me, came with super short bob.😂😂😂 Everyone at office laughed at me for days.
I really like you a lot. You seem like a very good and kind and considerate person. You look like someone who is very empathetic and even if people treat you wrong or be rude to you, you never treat them wrong.
And how did you determine that exactly 🙄 I don’t have anything against this creator and I find her content helpful. But to assume someone is good or bad based on certain videos they upload is being naive. This is like celebrity worship on a smaller scale. Influencers only show what they want to show. You never know what she is like IRL.
Suggest some good products or remedies for increasing hair thickness and strengthning hair follicles ..also what can help in covering hair gap in the middle partition area... Love your videos, keep growing with your passion ✨
Hey tarini, I have been wondering do scalp serums work for hair fall ? I have never used a serum for my scalp on my whole life. Let me know if they work and if they do how to actually use them Thank you for always educating people with valuable information regarding skincare and haircare I used to follow a lot of influencers being a teenager but now I only stick to your information Please bring more of your shots cause I check for your update for every single day Lots of love ❤️
“Trims” and “haircuts” are the same thing - it’s, simply, a matter of length and style. “A trim” is a descriptive reference, for the type of haircut/length desired. As we learn in freshman beauty college - “A haircut is a haircut is a haircut.” That’s why “trims” and “haircuts” cost the same - because they are the same. I know it may seem like semantics, to state such, though, as a hairstylist, I feel it’s important to note; as I have had people come in an expect “a trim” to have a different/lower cost, because they believe it doesn’t take the same time and effort as most any other haircut would. Now, a bang trim is a different story..
A dry cut....why did I not know that was a thing? All that trauma from sudden hair length loss when you go from wet to dry due to my natural wavy hair. I used to do the same too..to shy to speak up about what exactly I want. Then the cut would be horrible, and I would have to live with that for the rest of like 6 months....thankfully.
I've stopped going to salons since, they never give me the haircut I ask for. Apparently anything I show them looks like layer cut to them so I just DIY my hair cut now :)
I cut my hair myself at home now. I had too many bad experiences with cutting hair from salons. The positive side is that I know how do do layers and some basic cuts now and also saving money. I also do it for some of my friends and family. They love it!. I know how devastating to loose the hair length you worked hard on. So I always cut less at first even if they ask me to. Also as you said I always do dry cut, it gives an idea about what I'm doing. Learning it how to do it yourself is the best way.
Can you make a detailed skin care video for all types of skin types and one video for each skin type.. Please🥺 Please don't ignore 🥺I'm asking this for a very long time⌚
