In this video, I have shared everything about jobs in Singapore. I was a fresh graduate from India with no work experience when I was applying for a job in Singapore. In this video, I have covered what was my profile when I was looking for a job in Singapore, the job hunting process, which companies I got my job offers from (Micron Technology and ExxonMobil Singapore) and finally my preparation strategies to get those jobs in Singapore. I completed my postgrad from NTU Singapore and after that I worked in Singapore. @Supratik Sarkar thanks for being so genuine, Supratik. But this is just my experience which I am sharing here. No one can make me feel guilty that I did well in academics. Apart from the first 2-3 minutes, the rest of the video applies to everyone where I have shared the entire process one needs to go through to get an interview call. Hope it helps.

@Supratik Sarkar if companies set this criteria, then there is no way around it right. You have to meet the minimum eligibility. So it's good to know from before hand what companies need and then prepare yourself accordingly. I am sorry if you were expecting some miracle in this video :(

Very interesting vid.. You've hit the nail on the head.. Qualifications, yes you've worked diligently.. Working overseas is a different ballgame altogether...!! Very impressive academic profile in both ug and masters. So you are proved not only strong in thesis based curriculum, research also. Would it be difficult for an Indian who completes his Undergraduate from NUS/NTU to get a Job in Singapore? They make Students sign 6 year bond for the Fully Funded Scholarship so I was wondering whether it's really risky because it's extremely difficult to get a job in Singapore as an Indian.

So there are many options. If your student pass expires, you can stay in Singapore on an LTVP - long term visit pass and then search for jobs.

Hi Omkar. If I am not mistaken, the duration of the student pass is based on the duration of your program. So once the program time expires, your pass expires as well (do check this though, not 100% sure). Before it expires, you can apply for an STVP or LTVP to stay in Singapore and do your job search

Loved this video, Neha, especially the comment on how with minimal experience and applying from abroad, you feel only God can save you. XD Appreciate your transparency, and it's a breath of fresh air to hear of someone getting a job against all odds in a country like Singapore, where the overwhelming majority of messages online is that it's damn near impossible and exceedingly difficult for even the most experienced and best employee candidates. Cater each resume to the position you are applying for, write a cover letter for that position as well. The idea is to not bluff your experience, it is to show how your internship/previous job experience is relevant to the new job you are applying for.
