CONGRATS WITH the internship! I am happy for you! how long were you there at the internship for? did you have to travel a lot around the area? what type of work did you do at the internship? i hope you were happy with your time there!!!! :) :) :)
I was there for 4 terms - 1 in forensics accounting and 3 in audit! I specifically did not have to travel but I know colleagues of mine that did. And my time there was great, I learned a lot from my experiences!
I have few questions for you, how do you find the conference? Do you have to pay for it? Which company do you prefer ey or Pwc? Ey seems like a easy organization to get into.
There is often a portal on each of the company's websites to apply for the summer conferences! I would say that one is not necessarily easier to get into but it is more about what your application includes and how your interview goes as well/how you click with employees. I never actually worked at PwC but the reason I chose EY after getting accepted into both was because I thought the culture aligned more with what I liked and there was an option for a rotational program where I could do forensics accounting and auditing!!
Hi! I think this is something pretty hard to practice for. I think it’s more they just want to see how you think. It was questions that I feel like aren’t necessarily “wrong” or “right” they just want to see how you think! Good luck on the interview if it’s coming up though!!!
I am from marketing background and i want to shift to tax domain. I needed some tips what are the concepts i want to prepare like this must& stood from basic to intermediate
It depends what you’re applying for. For example for consulting they don’t look for people trying to get their CPA. However for audit and tax for example, those are very technical roles where they usually seek out people pursuing their CPA designation.
