Many Russian citizens are concerned with the question of how to obtain a passport or residence permit of another country. So I decided to apply for a residence permit in Georgia, where I’ve been living for a year and a half. I was not really hoping for success. But I was lucky and they approved my residence permit! So in this video I will tell you how I managed to get this document and what benefits it gives. I also will share with you how I finally got a driving license! (but with some peculiar details)

Dari sent an update from Bahamas , they need to organize trash clean ups too . How can people throw trash in public places , especially in such a beautiful place . No pride. Thank you Natasha for volunteering your time to pick up trash and congratulations on your success in Georgia.
@stevenwillie2782
@stevenwillie2782 Месяц назад
I live in Mexico now, I think that people just aren't aware. I remember growing up in California, when I was young there was solid trash on both sides of the roads. I remember all those aluminum cans were slippery on a bike. Then they organized the "Give a hoot, don't pollute" and the "Don't be a litter bug" campaigns aimed at the children and now most people don't throw the trash out of their cars anymore.
@rbspider
@rbspider Месяц назад
@@stevenwillie2782 Are you saying in Mexico they throw trash out anywhere and just don't care? I recall those ads. They didn't stick . Doesn't matter where I go I see trash. People throw stuff out at under passes, overpasses , off ramps, or wooded areas in between homes . There is a guy who picks up a dozen Fireball nips and sits in his car at least a few times a week and drinks them in a parking lot across from the liquor store and throws the nips out on the bank lawn before driving off because we all know you can't have open containers while driving . They are pigs . Watch the Dari Step vid , she shows an area that is covered in bottles and other trash items , right next to the beach with the teal water.

Two decades ago the Bahamians explained to me that they were facing a burgeoning immigration problem and could not educate the new arrivals on environmental matters quickly enough. The hurricanes just made everything worse.
@rbspider

@@qwazse4 Don't trash the space you live in , common sense , simple as that . I have one of those handles with grips on one end and I bring a bag when I go for walks . Why do you not see trash outside hotels , or rich areas? I will fill the bag every time I go out for a walk. I added magnets to pick up nails and screws I see on the street. I have picked up metal poles as long as three feet long. I hate trash . It's one thing that is avoidable .
@qwazse4
@qwazse4 Месяц назад
@@rbspider you and I were brought up right. I suspect we also were given stuff to take care of, and if we let it get wrecked it was gone. My grandparents were immigrants and were keenly aware of the impression they were making. That attitude got handed down. Congratulations, Natasha! I'm happy for you. You've shown commitment to your new (temporary) home country by making effort to learn the language and you're making a positive impact by doing volunteer work. You if anyone deserves to get a residency permit in my outsider opinnion. Also well done for being able to hold a conversation entirely in Georgian! Small victories like this are so rewarding in the language learning journey. It would be cool to hear more about your language learning journey. Apart from classes, do you have anything else you do? Maybe you could centre a video around a small challenge like learning themed vocabulary or reading something simple or translating signs you see in the streets etc. :) And when you progress in your language learning it's going to be so cool and rewarding for yourself to look back on later and compare how you've progressed. I'd be interested in seeing more videos about the volunteer work you do, too, as well as slice of life content. I always enjoy seeing you film interesting things you see no matter how small. And, though not so positive, because I'm Finnish, I'm also always interested in hearing about your opinions regarding the war in Ukraine and the state of Russia as it is today.

I loved that building too!!! I walked by it while on a walk in Tbilisi as a tourist, and walked in and talked to the front desk, who explained to me what the building was. As an American, I was so impressed by the beauty of the building, its organization, and how fast he said the waiting times were for many things , like passports and stuff. I was so surprised and amazed. Well done by Georgia!!

That building was built by Chinese convicts in 2012. Roof collapsed and is patched by plaster some kind of. The underground parking is also collapsing and employees are prohibited from leaving their cars there (that is why there is a large parking lot beside the building). So technically, the building is complete trash. But service is good and convenient (everything is under same roof).

When I needed to choose a foreign language to study in high school, my Big Brother and Dad told me that German is the language of the legacy science (e.g. Chemistry and Physics) and technology; French is the language of diplomacy; and Spanish is the widely used language. I chose German to study because I was interested and strong in the physical sciences and mathematics. It turned out that I didn't use German much because English was dominating in modern science and technology, partly due to many if not all educated Germans' already knowing English very well. Germany may still have a rather patriarchal culture which treats women as second class at times. It was unabashedly stated (as German has harsh gutteral consonants -- I'm actually okay with that because our Hong Kong neighbors wondered whether my parents were arguing with each other every single time they were together; no !) that "German is a manly language."
