honestly props that you can even admit that your previous internship was through a personal connection a lot of people that make videos like this wouldnt be caught dead admitting that.
It still amazes me how many people know and still learn C and C++ lol. Also, can anyone tell me of Swift is too niche for a person to learn as a career?
I was just looking at Microsoft Today on the career section in Texas, as a non tech or even engineering degree, I have a marketing degree and going the self taught way.. thank a for the video❤
Oh totally, I'm in the same boat. I went ahead and applied directly for the CEO position at Alphabet. Now it's just a matter of acing that little interview!
@@jacobchoi6554 multiple internships at multiple tech companies after one hour of watching a video on RU-vid lol lol lolllllll 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 ROBOTS GO CRAZY THESE DAYS
How many Leetcode problems did you do. I struggle with Leetcode. I can’t solve mediums in 20min. Mediums take me like an hour to solve (if I can even solve the problem)
just do as much as you can and if it's a harder problem, just make sure you understand the solution. not necessarily the exact code but the type of problem so you can recognize it later!
Hey Emma, I found your video very informative and helpful! I'm soon starting my Sophomore Year as a CS|Cybersecurity major and I want to ensure I'm taking the right steps to land a SWE Internship. I believe a really important course I'll be taking this semester is Data Structures and Algorithims! Anyways, I have two questions, how should I prepare during my Sophmore Year and how did you?
@@SpaceRipper I think taking data structures is a good for sophomore year! If you can I would also take algorithms just to get a head start on the interview process
@@EmmaBoersma UPDATE : I had a 10 minute convo with a recruiter, just to explain that I'll have a 1 hour interview... But I don't know why after few days before the interview, they finally decided to cancel it :/
Tufts is very prestigious, and a member of the NESCAC, the “Little Ivies.” It's one of the best Unis in the country. Not sure why you are trying to downplay that fact
