Hi! Loved your video! Just wondering, how long was the behavioral round for you? I got an invite to a 3-hr long interview after doing my 2 45min technicals. Not sure if that’s going to be all behavioral or still more coding haha
Is getting past the resume screen for twosigma or any HFT even a distant possibility if i have only ever done one data engineering internship before and an ML internship before that? No FAANG or unicorn whatsoever.
Do they not blacklist? I’ve heard these firms blacklist if you get rejected? Or is this not true? I’ve only read this on Reddit so it’s prob not true lol
Hmm I don't think any candidate knows that definitively for any particular firm. Companies almost never tell you the reasons you got rejected, and you'll never know every candidate's outcome.
@@lintechofficial I see. I just was surprised you were able to apply to the same firm every year. I always thought if you didn’t make it through the final interview, I had heard they blacklist you for the next interview season or something. But I guess not.
I used Python during all my interviews. The companies I interviewed with for internships didn't care about what language I used, so I picked the one I was best at. While a lot of Two Sigma's work is done in Java, I mainly used Python during my internship there because that's what my team happened to use (not because that's what I picked during my interviews). I wasn't required to use C++ until I interviewed for some more specialized roles or companies for new grad recruiting.
