So basically, we can use Kirito most of the time and fight solo to farm weapon proficiency, and once it slows down, use substitutes to be able to continue weapon proficiency farming without having to slow down. And just use weapon skills for stronger enemies and rely on common attacks when facing common enemies. *Can be applied to all of weapons. And always save.

I'm personally waiting to play until the XSX releases in a few months. Since they said they're going to optimize it for the next gen systems, I hope I'll have the best experience that way. Hopefully the framerate is not only playable but amazing that way. lol

Daniel Prince think it had something to do with how consoles have to go through a certification process for there updates before they can release them to the public and maybe PlayStation has a faster certification process then Xbox

Just wanted to say thanks for showing this to us before I manually updated my game a couple weeks back. Finally sat down and abused the proficiency reset by switching party members after every 100-200 proficiency gain and attacking calamity cluster while on Netflix. Maxed proficiency for everything except duel wield in less then 12 hours. I’ll do that this weekend I guess since it’s slow as molasses.

I bought a turbo controller for my PS4 awhile ago for grinding crap like this. Turn it on, set it to repeatedly press attack for me, go do something else. Such a great purchase. Party members seem to take the aggro of respawns pretty easily, but I put on a few HP regen passives just in case.

Is there any good Spot to farm? Also wanna do the cluster on the 3 Keys quest but there is a Guardian Beast within it and even after you beat the Beast it will respawn after a while....need a good Netföix&Chill Spot ;)

I usually stack +art gauge regen on party members and have someone with a enhance armament or release recollection as those tend to have large aoe radius's, and you can just use it when those pop to kill them both.

That's right.. i have 500 in all weapons noticed it after using Eugeo at lvl 10 lol so lvled them fast to get the 500 skill, and after cap 1 you unlock other characters so i did the same it was pretty easy but a bit boring. Now i'm trying to max them to 1000.. Also make sure to put the skills that gives +% of attack speed and skill speed to speed up the farm

So did the new update change how proficiency is earned? I was attempting to use a cluster and happened to notice that Lisbeth was at 300+ while I was only at 290 after farming for a bit. I had her and other npcs in my party to act as a defense against those guard monsters it keeps spawning. If she was gaining proficiency, then shouldn't I have as well? I'm only gaining 0.1 to 0.3, 0.4 if I'm lucky. Seems like I should be higher if she's gaining as well.

With the weapons you can also use a master ring for that weapon with a dull necklace so you only deal 1 dmg

Tagging bosses with higher level raises it by a lot i took Linel to 311 to 710 in just a couple tries (With just Linel) . Forgot his name it was the dinosaur with the jaw that eats rocks and throws it lmao.

Havian what is your progress on PS4 version? I’m currently working on this and I will finish but it’s going to take longer than 2 days especially with the new patch. After patch 1.03 this is definitely not for everyone.

For bows, I keep stepping back and moving away from the clamp, is there a skill to bring be in closer or make me stay put?

I think its intentional, I mean for how long its been around, I am pretty sure the devs know about it, you also have to consider that what skills allies can use are based solely on what kirito has learned, they learn nothing on their own pretty much, compared to the previous games where they learned things on their own based on level etc. So instead of having a skill tree for every character (of which there is 21 or so in sao AL), they have 1 tree that kirito learns from which also lets anyone else use those skills. So the proficency sharing kinda makes sense when you think of it that way.

So I don't need Kirito to obtain each kind of weapon, I just need a character that has the weapon type to be in kirito's party and build proficiency from there?

You need him to hold the weapon at least once to get levels for it and so you can buy every skill for it while doing so, but get him as high as you can without wanting to die and then use characters and then its easier! I suggest starting with wip, cause it will be the hardest, next either maces, or daggers, rapier, katana, then 2 handed sword(not dual weild), bows, then 1 handed cause everyone uses them so easy xp, and then dual wields, cause they will take the longest and will be the hardest to do cause only you have it

Hey a quick question, are the enemies supposed to respawn? The clamp cluster ones i mean, because i think that may have been patched in as a hotfix in 1.03 or only the clamp cluster i am does this, or lastly I just misunderstood what you said in the video

When you get to the "The Three Keys" quest, I'm pretty sure the calamity plant cluster at the bottom of the stairs won't respawn enemies after you kill the first one. I setup a macro to grind weapon proficiency and nothing respawned after 15 minutes.

For people on ps4 or xbox that completed the story and is going slow. Turn the game to hard to help increase enemies levels and farm the cluster. If want to have do it on its own there's a arcade stick you can buy called mayflash and has a turbo function so you can plug your controller in leave it on the arcade stick and walk away while it attacks the plant for you.

How are u unharmed when attacking clusters??? I get targeted by the minions the cluster invokes and I can't tank them while atacking the cluster... Leveling the worst right now, whipes and maces

Does that cluster respawn enemies? I just started chapter 3 and the cluster on the plains respawns 2 enemies and that gets annoying lol

Yes.Attacking clusters gives alot of prof at begining,but afterwards its quite useless. Almost every cluster have spawned some monsters or have monsters around,which is almost always wild ones and will agro at you character. At higher difficulty dealing with them takes too much time,so you soon finds out,that you took almost all of the time to deal with spawning mobs,not with leveling prof.As far you can only solve it by using a high level character with you party and switch to him every time,when mobs are spawned. Anyway its really annoing and took alot of the time.

That look on your face is like "Yeah I did this and it took this long... you I was joking." Makes me not wanna attempt that... ever. Also how big of an attack boost is it from 500 mastery to 1000 mastery? Is it a slight boost or a major boost?

I think it was roughly an extra 100 attack and accuracy at 1000.

That extra bit from 500 to 1000 is an extra 50 attack and accuracy. Accuracy is INCREDIBLY important so you can hit those divine beasts and raid bosses. So bare minimum you want this done for your main weapon and party members.

@@Schecter31 Yeah you want 160-170 acc for level 80-85 enemies or else your going to be missing a ton. Sadly on pc wayfarers do not work right, so all we get is generic npc ones, and none of them use bow, whip, or dual weild period. Bow you have Desobert and Sinon to help with, whip you got eldrie, but for DW you got no one but yourself.

The clusters respawn after a while so dont need to redo chapters. Problem is that after the Story mission on the Cluster with the 3 Keys they spawn a Guardian beast. Even when you beat the Beast it respawns after a while.

Hey havian, I'm a trophy hunter on Playstation and I'm still on the second chapter, without spoiling the story can you tell me if there's any character I can lose that would affect the affinity trophy? Similar to how you lose Strea in hollow fragment

You may not be able to use every character at first, but every character is unlocked once you complete the main story. No need to worry.

I did that in a previous game and it was really annoying. The only reason i would grind it on anything other than dual wielding is to get high level skills for allies. It probaly transfers to kirito but you are the one performing every hit and it would be really annoying trying to grind every character so they could use high level skills.

Off topic but if anyone could answer I'd be grateful, In the previous vid havian said that if you do all the dailies you should be able to get all cube items stated by whoever made the post, However I missed the 1st daily since the donwlosd wasn't working for me properly and in 70 days you could only get 70 cubes, but there's 100 items so how does it work

Still waiting to see that myself. I'm hoping that certain days will have multiple quests for you to do, or events that will give CUBES as rewards. There have already been other ways outside the game to get CUBES on the JP side, so I assume that will be the same for here.

Yup, you can gain proficiency at any time.

Hi everyone, does anyone know how to unlock the skill seeker trophy? I have unlocked all branches of the skill trees but I think passive skills+ from armor and weapons count but does anyone have more information on that since I am trying to figure this out :)

press x if ps4 of a on xbox on battle skills there's other buffs/debuffs to each battle skill between 4 and 6 usually on every one.
