These types of videos are always so inspiring and help us realize everyone starts from the same place when trying to get over the nerves of sending our music out. So if many others before us have been in the same boat and have become successful, we can too. As you said, it is usually just a mental block. Thanks my friend!
I always tell producers the same, as an artist when we say no it does not mean everything you have is a no. It's simply not what I am feeling at the time.
Would you consider doing a video explaining how to send beat packs? How many tracks, sending the same beat to multiple artists, what to use (Google drive, dropbox, etc)
I always love how unique your videos are. Before clicking this video, I thought you were going to say the same things that other people on RU-vid say (networking, collabing, etc ...) But this is the first time I've ever heard this advice. Thanks for the helpful videos!

Good tips and stuff that everyone should remember. atm I have got one placemenent for local ug-rapper and now with his help I'm producing for this newcomer which he took under his wing and produced, recorded, mixed, mastered and released her first ep and now her first album is coming out mostly of my beats. Also I should do bunch of horror-core beats for my former band-mate. Have also got enough confidence to send beat or two for some bigger names and it would be cool if any of them would like to use my beat or work with me some day and it's fine if they don't answer, that only means that I can and need to keep growing and learning more. It's also fine that this is just a hobby for me, just like my bands.
I’m not well-versed (I’ve only made a few beats in my life) but I would also think networking is key. It seems like a lot of people just throw “type beats” onto RU-vid hoping some big name stumbles across their video. Networking is key! I’m in a big city. I would be trying to find out about rappers who are on the come up and try to attend their shows. Hand them a business card or give them a flash drive! Be a businessman.
I think those two routes are both viable, but have very different outcomes. I think type beat producers aren't necessarily looking to be found by a big name, and are happy trying to build a consistent income by working with smaller artists. I could be mistaken though
Another way is listening to for example madlib looking at the beats he gave to doom and Freddie and other artists he’s worked with compared to his solo music of course your way is more personal to you but there is still information to be gleaned
