I really liked how you talked about dropping the Intro Bio course and planning to take it the next Fall in order to maximize your performance, alongside the guidance of your professor. I think that this is something that your premed advisors don't necessarily tell you about, so thanks for sharing that narrative!! It also is super helpful hearing from someone who has gotten into medical school that they also made mistakes throughout their undergrad classes but actively took steps to learn from them and that this didn't stop them from getting to where they wanted to be! We don't often hear about people's hiccups, so this was super inspiring!
I'm SO SO happy to hear that you find my journey and my own challenges along the road helpful and inspiring! I'm very far from perfect, BUT I still made it to med school--which is exactly the message I was trying to bring across in this video! Thanks for watching, Pooja!!
yay! I love to see more people putting out videos to help pre meds!! I don't have parents that are doctors and at the time I didn't really know anyone who could help me through the journey! I'm so happy that we can help anyone who feels lost the way I once was :)
Yes!! I also don't have anyone in my family in the health care field, so it's been quite a process of figuring things out along the way! Thanks so much for watching!
There really are so many little steps, but then again, just take it one little step at a time--that'll make it more manageable! I'm so glad you find the video helpful!! Thanks for watching my videos!
Completely agree with you, there are so many paths to medical school. Of course there are ways to make your journey into medical school more likely (i.e a stronger application), but the journey to that point can be so variable! Great vid ☺️
Wow. Your video is so helpful. I especially loved when you went over the kinds of classes you took from high school to undergrad and how they helped you get into med school and how you incorporated it into your application. Thanks so much for the video!
Adore this so interesting to see how you do it over there. This is so helpful for so many people. I am going to study medicine in September! New sub here would love if we could support each other xx
