lol acceptance rate is exceptionally high for foreign applications especially from rich countries like the US. Then again, why would a US citizen Asian like myself go to any foreign university over Harvard 😂
Thank you for this insightful video. I was wondering how you can be reached. I just want to ask a few things regarding the application process if you don’t mind
@@ghitakhyari6293 Pretty fast session with nonstop questions. After the session I thought I could done better. But well…. I got admitted to the university yayy!!
@@BC-ev7rs Thanks!! I’m attending the Sep 2024. The application actually started around Aug 2023. However, I just submitted my application during Mar 2024 (round 4). Well in my opinion just submit the application when you satisfied with your score and also leave some time to prep for the essays :)
If your first language is English, so no need for IELTS. If your first language is Chinese and have a Chinese high school certificate from your country then you don't need hsk. Neither those, then you must take both exams
On the PKU website it states: "For English-taught programs, applicants whose mother tongue is not English are required to submit TOEFL, iBT (100 points or above) or GRE (315 points or above) scores or other certificates to prove their English language proficiency." What are the "other certificates"? I have an ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) CERTIFICATE issued by British Institutes Examination Board. Is that okay? Also I would like to understand if after the application I will have an interview with the professors or admission is only with the documents I send in
