Thank you for the point about different cities having different requirements. I cannot stress it enough. Even within the same office, two immigration officers can ask for slightly different documents. If you feel you qualify, just go there and apply. I know someone who got his PR (Niederlassungserlaubnis) after just 16 months on a blue card because he already had B1 and had already been paying Rentenversicherung (Penson insurance) for 6 months as a werkstudent (working student), before he started his blue card job.
More information Getting a PR with Bluecard - 21 months (req : B1 skill ) - 33 months Work-permit - 24 months ( req: B1 skill & only for german degree ) - 60 months ( non german degree) PR Types - Niederlassungserlaubnis - Erlaubnis zum Daueraufenthalt - Eu - 60 months - only with this one is eligible to work all over Eu Blue card or work permit regardless rules are same for dependent visa A1 is mandatory.
Yaar Abrar, you should have gone in the woods Black Forest (Schwarzwald) with your GoPro and This Desi Friend of yours. Twigs and leaves cracking under your feet when Sun is rising, then Sun is high, noon, then sunset time walk through dense forest, another walk after dark with lanterns. Then you both should camp there and you two should sit there around bonfire in Black Forest (Schwarzwald). There are no such large and vast forests. i want see the forest floor inside and out, the tree barks, the wild grass and the beauty of nature with your best lenses.
@@DesiInWonderland Sir, I have a request can you make a video regarding Telecommunication engineering jobs in Germany ? Actually I am in 1 St year in University after graduation I would love to move there. Please sir make video on that .
I am planning to apply for Niederlassungserlaubnis for me and my spouse after 21 months (i.e on 27th July 2021 , on this day I will complete 21 months of stay and working in Düsseldorf). Just to give you a quick background : I came to Düsseldorf on 27th October 2019 and started working in Düsseldof. However based on the appointment availiblity for Blue card, I got the Blue card and the date issued is on 17th January 2021. Since then I am living with the Blue card in Germany and working as an employee with IBM. Me and my spouse are having German language Telc B1 certificates. I also have a 6year old daugther going to Grundshule. 1) I would like to know the list of documents for applying for Niederlassungserlaubnis . 2) Please let me know if my eligibity for 21 months starts from entry in Dusseldorf ( 27th October 2019 ) or from the date issued mentioned on my Blue card (17th January 2021) ?
Some ABH count those months from the day of your job and some count it from the day you got your bluecard ... so you need ask them about when you will get eligible for it 2nd, You will get the list of dcouments from your ABH The usual documents are .. you job contract, house contract, 3 month salary slips, bank statement, reneteversicherungverlauf.. but I would suggest ask you abh for documents list
Many congratulations brother. May you have many more in your life. Its my dream to work in Germany. Doing my PhD in Greece. Will meet you soon in Germany. In sha Allah.
I received my PR last week. I submitted all documents, and they asked me to wait for 10 mins. Then they provided me a receipt to pay 113 euros. After payment they gave me a letter stated, pr is issued until my passport validity date, and i will receive a letter of card issue in 2-3 weeks.
@@madhusudhansas357 if I have a passport for 10 years then I will get it for 10 years? and do we need to do the whole process again for renewing the pr?
Great work big brother & massive congrats for getting PR. I have one question regarding cities. Can you please tell the name of cities in which we'll get German PR in lesser time as like your friend? (As you'd mentioned that it depends on cities too)
Buddy I can tell you about that city but the problem is that things change with time, maybe now they take the same time as in my city but it al depends... but you can try your luck ... They city was munich
Can you explain a bit about when you said " Blue card and then PR which entitles that we are no longer connected with the company and we can do job wherever we want? That means Blue card as long as you hold then you are fixed with the company and if you lose the job then you have to find a job within 3 months else you have to go back, if one has PR then he/she will be safe? The requirement from Blue card to PR could you explain a bit please?
Well Bluecard is a limited Visa and with that you get a green paper where your employer name is written which means you can only work with your employer and if you change the job then you should inform ABH and they will issue you the new green paper. As it is a limited visa which is linked to the job so if you lose your job then your visa can't be extended as you no longer have the job. This is not the case with PR, with PR you are not linked with any employer so even if you lose your job you can still live in Germany. And take as much time as you want to find a new job or start your own business...
@@DesiInWonderland Thank you that's I wanted to conform Blue card is not an ultimate visa, like you said PR is a different thing could you explain how much time it will take to get PR after receiving a blue card and requirements?
Hey Vikas .. Did you check out my Bluecard related video ? I have explained in that about PR.. I can explain here but may be if you watch that video it might clear few more things for you. But feel free to ask question if you are still got any after watching that video .. You can find it in the video's description
@@DesiInWonderland Yes, I have seen that video but in that video, you explained more about Normal Visa and Blue card visa stuff but not about PR Visa or some sort of other information. For example, I understand as I am a non-EU student residing here in Germany I can go for 21 months option (with B1) but how after that one can go for PR because the blue card is still not an unlimited visa.
Hello Sir, I have fulfilled 21 months blue card requirement and i have B1 German. But my job contract is not permanent and i have only 10 months left in it, i need to ask if i can apply and get PR my current befristet contract ?
Hey, needed update information after three years. 1: Language certificate requirement is fixed now and also the list of eligible institutions or it still depends on the city whether they just take interview or certificate. Btw, I live in NRW? 2: I also started my blue card job e.g. in March, but my blue card was issued in mid of May. It took 2.5 months to get appointment, they told me to work on my student allowed 120 full days till appointment as I was changing my status from student to BC. So my 21 months will start from march or mid of May? I am afraid if I go on appointment and they say your 21 months is not completed :( 3: When you recommend me to apply for appointment as it now take 1.5 month to get appointment, should I apply for appointment 1.5 month before my 21 months completion or I can only apply for appointment after I complete 21 months?
AoA, thanks for the comprehensive video. I am not sure about the the information you mentioned at 5:15. Can you share any authentic online link in which this information is written? According to my knowledge, settlement permit which is actually Niederlassungserlaubnis in this case is only for Germany and not for EU. For EU, you need to apply for Daueraufenthaltserlaubnis EU in Germany which has separate requirements.
Yes you are Absolutely right ... Well I have said it in this prespective that inhabitor of blue card holder can freely work in other EU countries after 18 months in Germany .. As you get yours Settlement permit on the basis of the bluecard. You take all your bluecard benefits to your PR, Here is the source www.bamf.de/DE/Themen/MigrationAufenthalt/ZuwandererDrittstaaten/MobilitaetEU/MobilitaetBlaueKarteEU/mobilitaet-blauekarteeu-node.html
Well you are right. I don't remember exactly but I think they gave me next months appoitnment and I applied before corona so I physically went there for the apointment.
Thanks for the video gibran. It is immensely informative although i have a question about This b1 certificate .Do you require this certificate feom germany or it lso works if you have it from india?
You are absolutely right. In my case same thing happened. I got my normal work permit, after that I got Blue Card. Now the visa officer asking me to submit integration test certificate along with German A1 to issue me a Permanent Residency. It is totally different from city to city.
Is taking the Integration course mandatory before applying PR for those who are Blue Card holders! From the law I can see that it has been mentioned with B1 certificate you do not need the Integration course or Lebens in Deutschland . If anybody has the experience please leave a comment.
I have a one question, they will count the years from starting of work permit or from when I have been living in Deutschland like from study + job seeker + work permit) pls reply I am confuse about this thanks in advance .
If you are eligible for it then you can book an appointment at your auslaenderbehoerde and they will tell you all the required documents... after Submission they will issue you the PR
@@DesiInWonderland I understand, but after the application, you got a reply that is approved and you need to go for fingerprints (card). This response came by email or mail?
Salaam. After receiving my blue card, if I got to Pakistan and stay there for a month or two, will that time be counted in the 21 months or 33 months period required for PR? If so, how long can one stay outside Europe without the tye worry of exclusion of that period from the pR requirement?
Thanks for the video. I have one question which you already explained that it depends on the city. I am here in Germany from 2015 Sept and I did my Masters in 2.5 years with doing part-time jobs side by side in my field (IT). Then I started my full-time job from May 2018 - onwards. I got a work permit from the start and didn't change it to a blue card (though I was meeting the salary requirements). now I am planning to change my job and want to get Blue card but now I am confused whether I have to start over again or my 28months of fulltime work will count? I am planning to get PR on A1 because it's not possible for me to do B1 for now as I am putting all my efforts into my job skills (IT). It would be great if you can give your opinion or guide me :) thank you.
One more question. Do I have to wait three months to submit three months salary slips along with blue card application? In the blue card form it also asks if I want to apply residence permit for my children and family. Now tey are still un Pakistan and have not applied for a visa yet. Should I wait until they come here or do I include them in my blue card residence permit form already?
You need to go to Ausländerbehörde for it. As you already have the PR before then I would assume that the process would be quite straight forward.... There will be no security check this time... To be honest, I don't know exactly but that is my assumption
Thanks for the video, with PR I see a rule that if we are out of germany for 6 months period then pr gets invalid . Do I have to be employed in germany or I can work india and travel every 6 months to keep pr valid
Hello . I have a question. I would like to know whether we need any other document other than our work contract from the organisation we are working with.
Did you also appear for naturalization exam to apply for PR? Information is not very clear.. some articles says only A1 language certificate is required after 33 months and some articles says I'd also need naturalization certificate (which states, applicant holds enough basic information about the country). As I understand, naturalization is needed when applying for Citizenship only. This is getting bit confusing.. is naturalization certificate needed if I am applying for PR after 33 months or not?
Actually I already did integration course that's why I don't have to but I heard that in some cities the Foreign office specifically ask for naturalization exam (einburgertest). I heard that they change few rules in March 2020 and now according to that. You need einbugertest for PR but that is completely upto the person who is handling your case... sometimes they can exempt it ..
Hello, I received an unlimited work contract after completing masters course in Germany and I have completed the B1 course. However, my current salary do not meet the Blue card level. In this case, do I still qualify for PR after 21 months?
hello sir, I have one question if you can help me i have Italian PR now and last year I moved in sweden and now I have TRC card of 5 year in sweden and my wife have also but now I want to move in Germany so I have question my wife need to go back India and get again visa for Germany or she can change here in Germany plz tell me, thanks alot, because if I changed my PR so I need to show my Italian PR and my wife can show only sweden TRC how it will combine?
Recently I gave an interview in German company. I'm more likely to get an offer letter. However i don't have degree( not required in my field). And I have 3+ years experience in the same field. Am I still eligible to apply for visa with my offer letter?
Well this is a very rate situtaion so I really don't know what to expect in this case. I would recommend that ask your company that you need a letter which clearly states that you got hired due to yourvalue experience in the field and the degree of such field is not required. this way, even if foreign office create an issue then this letter can help you get around it, because you can argue that when I work here in GErmany, I pay taxes and indirectly I will be contributing to the GERMAN system and even though you wil be small part of that system but still company hired you on the basis of your experience and they couldn't able to find anyone with the degree or such experience. In short, if your comapny supports you then you can get a visa easily or you also hire a immigration lawyer for it if things go south
Thank you Bhai. One question though, you know there is difference between EU long term permanent residence and this one issued after 21 months. For example in Berlin they are not distinguishing in the form which one you are applying for, and it seems the date requirements are a little different. What's your thoughts (I'm guy with Poland blue card)
Yeah I know there is a EU PR but I think this one with 21 months also have the same benefits as the EU PR .. so I guess you can for the 21 months if you want...
@@DesiInWonderland I guess the benefits of the EU one are similar to blue card. You can switch to other EU country with it, otherwise you are stuck in DE.
If you get a PR on the basis of Bluecard then you can also switch to other EU countries... As you said that you hold a bluecard. did you get any problem when you came to Germany for the job (From the visa prespective)
Hi i applied PR WITH 33 months with A1,on appointment day my finger print, doc, picture was taken and was told i neec to be patience they check my residency and will take several months to processes, but i heard it takes 4-6 weeks, why several months told to me,what it means, please suggest
Do you get the blue card from embassy when you applying to join your with work or it's a process inside germany. Let's say I have an offer and I fullfil the requirements the bluecard. How long it takes to get the visa to travel or it is itself the bluecard
You can get a blue card visa from your embassy and it is usually limited to 3 to 6 months and once you are here then you extend your visa. At that time, foreign office check your docs again
Hello Sir, Thank you for the great video. I have a question. After getting Permanent Residence with 21 months and B1 certifcate, can I go to another country such as Dubai or Canada to work? I can make sure to visit Germany every 6 months. But is working in another country allowed?
Hi, Thanks for making this informative video. Its very precise and to the point and its related to the people who have come here for work rather than through Masters education. I have a question to ask you and I hope you could answer this. I am living here on an EU blue card and I have completed around 36 months on it and I have an A1 language certification. I was asked about Orientierungskurs. May I know what this is?
Einbürgerungs test and "Leben in Deutschland" test are the same test, but Leben in Deutschland is the one you do at the END of the Orientierungskurs. The Orientierungskurs is one part of the Integrationskurs, which also comprises Sprachkurs (until B1.2 level in German).
Hello sir , i am planing to move in Germany . I have a spainish PR and also have EUROPE UNION RESIDENT CARD. I want to ask about PR OF GERMANY. What is the procedure and what documents are required for German PR. 2- what is the status of children and my wife because they are depends on me . 3- How can i apply for Nationality of Germany (time period , language or other requirements)
I think if you have Spanish PR. You can also get a GErman PR but honestly I don't know the exact rule about it 2.) If you get a visa then your family get a dependent visa easily in Germany 3.) 8 Years with A1 German level, 7 Years with B1 German level and 6 Years if you have taken part in integration activities like working with the Red cross, or any volunteer work here
I have done A1 and applyed after 33 months. I have got a letter which is written to come with your passport and Passport photo. Is this mean its approved? What questions will they ask in the interview, since I have only A1 level of German
it seems like it is approved. Well you can apply after 33 months with A1 .. So you are good to go.. As per my knowledge. They will not ask anything special.. just normal question about your job or house contract... sometimes they don't even ask anything.. just hand them your docs and that's it
Hi, I came across your channel today and I must say you are making very informative videos. I have one doubt, it would be really helpful if you could share your insight on that. I have got Humboldt fellowship to do postdoc in Germany and I think I am eligible for EU blue card for researchers. My contract is valid for 24 months, do you think I can get PR during this period?
It has been more than 2 years since I have started my internship and I have been paying my taxes for more than 2 years now and I have a B1 certificate. Am I eligible for PR? Thank you

Congrats Bro, I have a question. I married to my wife (German) since 2 years and 6 months. Have A2 certificate and Leben in Deutschland certificate. Both of us working. Am I fit to apply for permanent residence permit? What do you think or what are my chances? Thanks in advance
As far as I know, you can apply for PR after 3 years of a marriage to a German national. You can simply drop them the email, they will let you know when you are eligible for PR.
Hi Jibran, thanks for the very informative videos. My question is after how much time one can apply for citizenship if spouse is German national. And what are the requirements? B1 and Orientarungkurs lebens in Deutschland is done. Thanks

@@DesiInWonderland if i misses the date with several months due to inability to renew my passport does the actual perminant right expires and have to leave or just the card and have to pay a fee or something?
It totally depends on the visa office, because I heard few cases where they also considered the pension contributions from student years.. but these cases are very rare because most of the time they count only the months of bluecard. Not the month before ..
Aslam o Alikum bro and thanks for video 21 months ka jo Period hai after B1 wo normal Aufenthalt jo Ausbildung ke bad milti hai uspa b apply hota hai ya only blue card pa ?
Hi.. please can you tell me how long does it take to apply for a settlement permit after doing a PhD (during doctoral course the visa given is long term residence permit for researcher)?
it doesn't matter if you are on a student visa or Phd. As per my understanding if you did education from Germany then after finding a job jo you can apply for Settlement permit. If you are on a Blue card then after 33 months without b1 and with b1 21 months
Thank you for the wonderful video. So, it looks like we need to take permission from ausländerbehörde if we are changing the job within first 2 years of EU Blue Card. Could you please suggest, if we need to resign from the current job before getting the permission or need to get the permission and then resign? Also, is permission from ausländerbehörde is enough ?
yes.. if you fullfill the requirement then you can apply for PR. You don't have to be german student for it. Poeple come here on spouse and work visa also gets the PR
userfull information @desi in wonderland.. what about the point you told when a person gone from blue card to Permanent residence, he has the eligible to work in other EEU countries.. ? can you please share more info or link on that , that would be most helpfull thanks
Individuals who have held an EU Blue Card in another EU Member State for at least 18 months may enter Germany without requiring a visa. They have to apply for an EU Blue Card in Germany at the immigration authority that is responsible for the place where they live within one month of entering the country, They may take up employment once the EU Blue Card has been issued. www.bamf.de/EN/Themen/MigrationAufenthalt/ZuwandererDrittstaaten/Migrathek/BlaueKarteEU/blauekarteeu-node.html Same rules apply when you go to another EU country..
Depend on different factors, did you complete your masters from Germany ? If yes, then usually Phd Students don't get blue card because they are not earning Bluecard salary. So usually they get normal working visa . Sometimes, they get a researcher visa, it all depends on the type of contract. So in short, depending on your Visa type, you can apply for PR after 24 to 36 months.
Yes you do, but how much you need it depends on the visa office. I have seen people with only 3k in their account and they still got the year extension for job search visa and I have seen cases where Visa officer asked them to show atleast 6 to 7k euros... but usually they are not that strict... You can ask your seniors from the same city about it... Another ideal scenario would be that you have somekind of mini job contract and then have around 2-3k euros in your account...
