Excellent series Nep! I have really enjoyed grinding towards POTM Mbappe alongside you, learning from you as always whilst doing some things my own way using my own menu grind experience. I have two 87 squads left and have not used a single coin, hopefully I can grind out the last 2 by tomorrow and use Mbappe for this weeks champs run, look forward to the next challenge
Didn’t think this was possible AT ALL. the only thing that convinced me was Nep‘s determination. Surely, if he can do it on a new account, i can with an account from the beginning of the year? I completed him yesterday with overall 65k spent on one 91 rated fodder. Not only that, after I finished the 87s I started getting dupes and not knowing where to put them so I started Dalglish Thunderstruck! And i’m 8/13 sqauds in. TL;DR Nep convinced me to try grinding Mbap, by the end of the month I‘ll have both Mbap and Dalglish TS. Thank you Nep!
Loved this series. Can we continue this series for Eusebio? Most people have followed some of the stuff you've been doing so far so personally wouldnt mind if you continued that on this account
seeing this grind done gives me hope to do his 93, skipped out on the 92 cus i gave up when i saw the 20 squads. With christmas promos coming ea might be more generous with packs
Well done Nep! The thing for me with these type of player SBC's is I'm afraid to start them. Afraid to lose out by 2/3 squads and to have wasted all the other players. I am thinking about doing Eusebio, but still that fear creeps up on me. I dont play any rivals or champs either because I'm actually trash at this game, so not sure if it would be possible for me to get players like this.
I feel the same try grit my teeth and bare the rivals and champs but I can’t stand it. I really don’t think it’s possible if you only grind squad battles maybe but it’s gonna be close
I did Dalglish in two weeks without Rivals and Champs. You can definitely do Eusebio in 60 days without rivals and champs. Just do all the objectives and sbcs for fodder.
@@pelvispresley6280 I'm gonna give it a try! Biggest problem I see is the 89 rated squads. i'm sure I can do all the others, but with player ratings getting higher and higher I think it should be doable in 2 months, even for me. I've always been a sucker for objectives, just love having something to work towards in this game.
@@tristan2401 Also don't be afraid to give up special cards you don't use, i know i had a lot of special cards that were just collecting dust on my account. They helped a lot in finishing the squads.
eusebio for 61 days is more than doable. rn i am feeling that fear on mbappe tho ngl. i need 3 88squads and an 87 and if i don’t finish him, ong i’m retiring from fifa
Great series!!! I, thankfully, did one squad of POTM and then packed gold Mbappe from the 83x10 right after 😂 so didn’t finish the grind. But this series and made me see that these 3-4mil coin SBCs are waaay more doable. Maybe the Eusebio which is the same price but twice as long to complete is what I work on
I had no doubt you would be able to complete it. I noticed I would be able to complete it too and other 3million+ coin players when I looked back and realized I did De Jong, Odegaard, Schmeichel, 3 icon sbc's, most of the casino packs, and multiple "cheap" player sbcs. Almost all of the icons and players from the campaign packs ended up being fodder anyways. I've only played champs once this game cycle but the amount of packs EA gives from objectives is enough to keep me busy grinding gameplay and able to recycle into other packs.
Imagine if you’d done all the icon casino SBCs since this started, you probably used up enough fodder to get POTM Mbappe, and only have a duplicate Roy Keane and Patrick Kluivert to show for it.
Nep has packed 4 more icons on the Mbappe rtg than I have, ever, and I've been playing since Fifa 15 lol. Incredible luck but also a really awesome grind to have watched😊
@@vedantharwani9278As you can imagine, I have no number to give you because it's been over the span of nearly 8 years at this point. I can however, confidently, say that I opened WAY MORE packs than Nep did on the Mbappe rtg and the only Icons I've ever packed were from guaranteed Icon packs. I am not salty, or jealous or anything. I am just amazed at the incredible luck Nep had here, and I'm glad to see it!
I loved this series but hated the ending. Would have been nice to watch you continue and play with POTM mbappe going for the next one. I personally prefer this series over the arsenal rtg and I'm an arsenal fan haha
It's impossible to the 93 POTM mbappe ... only pack LUCK can help you... this guy has luck because he's a streamer. You can only recover 5 players ever 30 days and the amount of duplicates you get are crazy.
Loved the ending of the video. Putting him sbc just closed the series perfectly. One annoying thing is not being able to see coin balance. Maybe overlay somewhere else if you do something similar again.
@@Nepenthe2Let's be real, you rigged this challenge for no reason at all. Face covering the fifa points was the biggest tell. You even mentioned in one of the videos " I won't show you all the packs being opened" to avoid showing the fifa point packs being opened
@@fforfreedom8893 I really don't think that is the case. We got to see most the packs and I wasn't watching thinking there were players appearing from nowhere.
Great video Nep. I really enjoyed the series and I knew you would pull through with it. What i would suggest for the next one is use an account that already has some time on it as to prove the average person who already played the game for a while and doesn't have the foundations sbcs/ objectives that give massive packs that something like this is possible.
I didn’t do the foundation SBC’s. But honestly, I think it would be easier on a played on account. You’ll already have coins, players and fodder. The actual difference a new account makes, imo, is so so small. I also had 12 days, 2 champs, 2 rivals, 2 quailes etc all to go before the month was up. It is absolutely doable on a played on account.
Got him yesterday. What a grind, 3 days to go and still had 1 89 and 3 83’s. Thought I was going to fail but got some good pack luck. Still spewing about the cards I put in him. All worth it, he’ll be in my team most of the year.

I honestly was doubting this to be done , But i really wanted you to finish it, and you did! Definitely going to try to do Mbappe 93, Finished Zidane in 3 days thanks fully, so that gave me extra motivation knowing i can do a 4-5 mil card in a month , thank Nep

i didn't really think it was possible but now i really wanna do him 5 days left if i spend 50 bucks i prolly got fodder to do 2 of the high overall squads is it possible to finish by ending?
i completed him too but without playing champs. all the way through i had around 200k and in the last pack i packed gold van dijk so i made profit while completing him. it was worth the grind because he has taken me up a level. seeing you submit him into a gold upgrade was painful though 😂
Questions >> DO you guys think it is realistic for me to complete Mbappe SBC , if I have only 600-700K worth of fodder (after Eusebio SBC) and around 2 Million coins?.... 24 days left... and I dont know if I should start Mbappe at all.... It will be painful if I DONT COMPLETE him...eventually ...and loose all my fodder and coins...
I get it’s achievable. Currently 14/23 on the 93 but luck has to be involved as well had some big packs and no 600k pulls like you got no good PP’s or good rewards from grinding big part of it comes down to luck as well
It’s not a very realistic example for a number of reasons 1) most players aren’t on a fresh account and don’t have the benefit of all the starter objectives 2) you shouldn’t be able to submit players to Mbappe that any normal player would use in their team (trailblazer Ronaldo etc) 3) you relied heavily on a 500k tradeable pull which I doubt 95% of the community get all year
And yet, still had two weeks, two champs, two rivals, two qualies, hadn’t done foundation SBC’s, none of the level 26 packs, or had any fodder, coins or players built up from the 2 months before he came out.
@@Nepenthe2 it’s a great series, I just think you could have done more with it to show the team you could build including Mbappe to make it more relatable to an every day player
@@adamthomspon4510 the everyday player also should have some fodder / coins saved up from the first months of the game! Definitely agree about #3 though... I wonder how much longer this would have taken him if he hadn't packed Araujo
Find it crazy how I’ve been playing ultimate team since 2015 and yet still never packed an icon in a normal pack and yet nepenthez has packed 4 in less than a month?
@@joshtreacy8017so why haven’t I packed one? No it doesn’t help does it because it still doesn’t explain why he’s packed 4 in one month and I have never packed one.
@@branaldinho I only packed like 3 icons fifa 15 to fifa 22. last year I packed about 10 and this year 3 thunderstruck. i’ve never bought fifa points. promo icons can be obtained in upgrade packs but regular icons could never in the past. hence the huge increase in drop weight since promo icons
