@@BaileyBlaze Soft locks aren't typically fixable by saving and reloading, this one is. But let's not get caught up in technicalities, I just wanted to help out :D
It happened to me, you have to calculate exactly in wich part you are able to pull the mushroom enough to get out without actually falling to the water while pulling the mushroom
@@BaileyBlaze it literally is not a soft-lock and does not require a save-reset. Load the game at the previous save, a "soft-lock" requires you to reset your save. *There is no auto-save,* so you are not saved ("locked") at this point perpetually
@@BaileyBlaze didnt know but seriously when i wrote this i was playing my second playthrough dont use the glitch to get to the boss early in the ice temple if u didnt do the other one first its gonna hardlock the gamr
@@BaileyBlaze IIRC, a hardlock is when the game completely locks up, ignoring all inputs. It can also be considered a "soft crash" as the game is technically still running, but it can no longer process anything. Gameplay is still possible during a softlock, but progression is impossible (this typically includes via dying and/or reloading the game). Because of how saving/loading works in most Zelda games, softlocks (especially within dungeons) are very uncommon. That said, it is possible to softlock in certain dungeons in some games (such as ALttP) if you use keys on the wrong locks, as it can prevent you from being able to access new keys, making completing the dungeon (and thus the game) impossible. What is shown is this video is more just getting yourself stuck and needing to die/reload the save.
You can literally jump back from that position. That's not a soft lock. Just stretch the shroom to the absolute edge of the water, and then hold "right" while flying trough the air.
"I wish i could break the pots with my sword" The sword master that only lets you do that after the 2nd dungeon: *ah yes but unfortunately your not skilled enough to smack a rock with your sword*
SO THIS IS A SOFTLOCK!? Huh? Pretty neat, I’ve never, and I’m being genuinely, never seen a softlocked or experienced one before. And seeing it, it must not be a good experience. 😅😅😅😅
