Never set the priority of a process to "realtime" since that means the cpu could only focus it's resources on that one process, meaning your mouse and keyboard drivers could take an eternity to respond or just stop working until you power off your machine.

Finally someone who did an actually comprehensive video with every possible optimization, I'm also 90% sure I have the fps record for my specific hardware config (i7 4600M ~3.50 Ghz, Intel hd 4600) clocking in at 1300 fps. I think I can probably boost this even higher though.

VulkanMod is a mod that gives my 2017 21.5" imac a stable 60fps. In sodium I got ~30 and vanilla ~10 in the hypixel bedwars lobby. If you couldn't already tell from the name, it translates opengl to vulkan to gain fps.

The difference between version is mainly that you're using frickin F3 to show fps the F3 menu tanks fps by a lot and the fact that 1.8.9 has a lot less stuff then newer versions in F3 The problem's with Fraps is that they don't go beyond 9999 fps aka that's low while afterburner can go above 10k but it kinda tanks fps as well if we are talking more than 5k fps For "vannila with mods"

we also have to keep in mind that the F3 menu on its own decreases the FPS substantiually

idk if u did it since im watching the vid rn, but the mod called "Nvidium" for Sodium is a crazy good optimization mod if u have a GTX 1660 or newer. It's highly optimized for high render distance, it's crazy how my fps dropped barely even with crazy amounts of chunks rendering

4:32 Don't. Stuff will go TERRIBLY wrong, things such as polling mouse drivers will no longer work anymore. Try "high" instead.

I've been saving for awhile to get an i7 and 4070 ti, so I don't know if I could get higher using these tips, but I don't really want to try. Great video tho!

1 tip dont use the f3 debug when trying to look at fps since its programmed to lower/cap the pause and debug menu fps. use a mod or a program instead. keep up the good work!

If you do f1 it hide your menu bar and when you do it again you will see your fps up because the simple fact of charging hte menu bar make your game slower

The highest playable fps possible would probably be on a computer with an Intel 13900K(S) for the incredible single core performance, the best Radeon Graphics card (7900 XTX as of now) and Linux, preferably using the newest software and kernel avaliable (so ideally a distro like Arch). Along with that some lightweight DE like XFCE4 or a Window Manager, and from Minecraft you'd probably get the most FPS on 1.7.10 with all the crazy performance mods avaliable on it

I have the same graphics card (3060ti) with I7-12700F and 32gb DDR5 RAM, and on 1.19 optifine without any mods, only game settings changes, I've reached over 3400fps. For me, that was very impressive, because with my old pc I mostly played with 30, 40 fps (AMD athlon 2.6ghz, GeForce 210... 3gb ddr2 ram)

As far as I'm aware, Starlight is a better and direct replacement for Phosphor.

If you make your Minecraft window screen as small as possible that can make ur game go to 300x more fps but it's unplayable

As someone who tried their literal best to optimize for 2 years and now got a really good gaming pc, then getting 12874 fps, no offense, but there are a few more things. I noticed that in the quality menu, you left everything on. Turn mipmap off, and turn everything off. Also, VBOs are a bit slower at really high FPS, so turn that off. Also, turn off alternate blocks. Lower the fullscreen resolution even further. And then, you will get really high frames. If you have an even higher end pc, then you could potentially get 20K+ fps.
