Man, there is no point to all this.. Your account now just getting engagement because it's new. You will be into the loop again with fake bots etc.... The only way to have the best followers is to have personal account but this is hard.

This is great advice - thank you!! I’m just wondering… Can you help me to figure out why my reels all seem to drop off at 10.5k views? I usually get between 300-550 likes on every reel since I began posting consistently about 2 weeks ago (my account was private and my personal diary of sorts before then). Unfortunately I rarely get any followers from my reels, despite them performing fairly well (or at least they do in my opinion!). I’ve reworked my bio a billion times. 😓 I’d be so grateful for any help or insights you can share. Thanks so much!
Hello Katie! It's something i experienced in the past, one thing i did to get my reel from 5k+ views to 200k+ views is replying comments. Reply every comment, you get on your Reels, that way you'll increase your wtachtime and get more reach and engagement. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help & serve you.

There's no need to start anything over! Just focus on growing real engaged people. Do that by 👉 Creating awesome contents 👉 Engaging with your audience 👉 Taking advantage of trends like reels. thanks Oscar. I block 4 hours a week to shoot videos (split into two separate 2 hour shooting sessions) + another 2 hours on a different day, which I spend writing out ideas. Also, as I started to get more traction i started to spend more offtime in the app looking at content that works and learning. Re: scripts - I don't normally write a full script but I do write out my title ideas and hooks , and then bullet points for what I would like to cover in the video.

Reels will work extremely for you! Just make sure you're staring your reels with a hook, using subtitles and have a cool background music. One thing many people are doing to grow up to 10k followers per month with just reels. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help & serve you.

Soon it will be one year since I started my first ever IG account, but I am still on the 1k mark. I don't have a shareable/stitchable reels, so you think that is one of the reaons? :( I am now considering an IG ad to check if the traffic will help.
Instagram ads won't help if your content sucks. I'd suggest you do your market research and find out who are the influencers & competitors in your niche, find out what contents, hashtags, bio, captions, call to action, works for them and model success. This was probably the most helpful video I’ve ever watched on social media growth. The way you explain it makes sense. Like the reason your posts lose traction is bc they aren’t continuing to get engagement. That explains why I will get 200 views like day 1 and then the post goes stagnant. I have "a lot" of obsolete followers that don't engage anymore (they don't use instagram anymore, they're not interested in my content (they're mostly models, randoms when today I talk to photographers), they just don't see my content anymore or they don't speak the right langage (I used to get confused about the langage I wanted to use, today I know I want to communicate in French)) but I was wondering if I could manually delete them? I don't know if using an app to help me identifying them is a good idea or not. 🤔
This is an excellent example of people authentically loving what they do for the sake of their passion on whatever their Instagram page is themed around... Because if you're just chasing followers quickly. Then you are really limiting the enjoyment of the whole process because it's a marathon that's going to take some time. But at least you know you'll have a real audience behind you that share the same passions.

Can you do a video on your IG reel workflow? Looks like you shoot a bunch on a DSLR, edit on computer using a plugin that easily does animated titles, and then save to Google drive or Dropbox then open and upload to IG on your phone? Is this correct?
I need to start over as i have zero engaged followers as i just followed some yt tutorial to increase followers that say to follow and unfollow and for like just tag and tag tag and so on and now i have no engaged 150 followers+ sadder i almost forgot about my acc 4 2 years so I lost more than 100 followers 😢 and I'm just with 150 followers left

Thanks for this video. I bought a couple thousand fakes years ago and have been stagnant for so long due to "instagram jail". I've been cleaning my followers/following to try to get out of it, doing anything I can to avoid starting new accounts from scratch. But I think it's clear to me now that this is what I need to do.
It's not easy to grow an Instagram account with fake followers it just confuses the algrothrim. One strategy that can help you is running instagram ads or paying influencers to promote your Instagram. Make sure your profile is optimized by having, nice profile picture, bio, username. this was amazing advice! I fell into the trap of buying followers several years ago. So I know the blunt end of that.. Although I don't want to delete the account since I had quite a bit of genuine followers before hand.

Unfortunately you would need to start a new account. You can tell everyone on your current acct to follow the new one and that youll be shutting the old one down soon. I know this seems hard to do but haveing a fresh clean slate can allow your new account to take off..

Does Instagram ads trully damage organic reach? I recently started a personal brand, and a was getting 200-1000 organic reach, but recently my latest 6 videos jus stopped and dont get a like even, and I posted some ads before that. Could this be the case that the ads damaged my organic reach? Should I consider starting a new page and avoid ads?
