Jessyamber Walker my hair def needs a trim but I wouldn't say damaged though. Def cut your hair if it's damaged because it will only split up the shaft of your hair 😩 I had to chop off mine in 15 but it grew back quickly and more thicker

Leave your hair braided and wear wigs, crochet. And every 2-5 week shampoo and deep condition. It will grow. Keep it moisturized while it's braided.

@Star This was 4 years ago. My hair was healthy, but to coarse. I went from natural to relaxed. I only wear my real hair now mostly in buns. She like being relaxed. She’s growing better:) And you’re right. Weekly washes and deep conditioning. No heat.

Kitty wuvscissors someone advised me to go to a dermatologist. However I been trying castor oil vitamin e and peppermint oil with scalp massages and I been seeing some results nothing to write home about yet lol. However I have seen were hair is growing

Your follicles may be damaged or closed/scarred. If they are just damaged, I would try Glammed Naturally Oil with scalp massages twice a day. That is how I grew my edges back after post partum loss.

Your eye makeup is so pretty. Yes, castor oil will help and really good massaging the scalp every time you wash it. My hair was buzzed off like a guys to get to the gray. lol I use to be licensed many moons ago to do hair etc. and can you believe that I was the only stylist that could straighten African American hair with a blow dryer? I was asked to show the others. It made my clients happy and in return me happy. Keep on massaging that scalp it stimulates new hair growth from the follicles so do not clog your scalp pores either. Let it get fresh air and keep doing what you are doing. Love your honesty on loss of hair. I suffer from it because of (thyroid) Hashimoto's an autoimmune disease. I like you hair this way, straight & I love afros. I saw a model in Florida being photographed and she had the fullest long afro. It was stunning.

Of course. You can use olive oil. But, start off with very little, just a dab. Coconut oil works as well. Check out my channel, let's support each other.

Maureen Kibe I always wonder how often to oil my scalp too, but u know what, I oil my scalp and massage it through every night. I have too because my hair sucks up oil like a Hoover gurl 😂😂😂 it's like FEED ME!!!!😂😂 But otherwise I would say no less than every other night or when ur scalp is feeling dry 😊😊✌

Use Jamaican black castor oil with the peppermint oil in it there’s a line Jamaican mango and lime in conjunction with the wild growth oil massage massage hope this helps

Gorchess I wash using my regular routine wash day.. I personal have to wash my hair once a week because i notice if i wait to wash it biweekly it sheds alot regardless if my hair is braided or not, i deep condition once a week also. because that what my hair tells me it needs. Then I let it air dry a lil with leave in conditioner .i briad my hair in 6big box braids until it fully dry. follow my oils and cornrow it back..hope this help

Anii Lee It will not stop growing unless your follicles close or are damaged. Don’t braid too tight and keep your hair moisturized. You should see it flourish.

olivia Tracey it really works. you can also find it on Amazon. I looked to confirm before replying to you. I use to use it back in like 2000, and it worked wonders!! I stopped though b/c it can STIIIIINNNKK LOUDLY if you sweat in your head and/or take long showers. Ironically, I just bought a bottle today from the store. Gonna use it on my edges

aaaa. ever since I was little my edges were just weird as fuck. they kinda go back lmao ;( my dad is the same so I think it’s more of a genetic thing + I used to be a huge fan of wearing tight buns growing up so that just made everything worse. My “edges” haven’t grown in but they’re a lot thicker now ever since I stopped straightening it 24/7 and LUCKILY I have a lot of baby hair that covers the front so it’s literally not noticeable 😂

Amor Antasia I poured approx 2 tbsp of JBCO into 1/2 bottle of Wild Growth and some of the oil curdled up and stuck to the inside of the bottle! 😳☹️. I don't understand what happened. Now I'm leary about using it. 😂
