Hi friend. Could you please breakdown your insirance expense per month. What coverages made it to $1800? I am trying to make a plan but your insurance cost is scaring me a little. Well most carriers brokers want $100k/$1million policy. That’s what I have and I’m out of Florida so it’s expensive there. Everyone’s quotes are different so make phone calls to carriers/brokers see what they want then call insurance companies and get quotes. Pretty cut and dry my friend
Dispatch fee is worth it to me. I tried booking my own loads but when I’m driving 60 hrs a week last thing I wanna do is go back and fourth with brokers and try to book loads. That’s time for resting, going on hikes, and working on content. My dispatcher knows me, and what I like. She usually has something for me ready before I drop off or not long after. The convenience and consistency she gives my life is well worth that 14% to me. To others maybe not. But I respect your opinion and appreciate you taking the time to watch and show love.

Are you including any office space cost as your fixed monthly overhead?, which you can deduct as operating cost, but If you don’t have an apartment or home, like in my case, I live in the truck I’m driving, I wonder if you could do that given that your vehicle IS your abode.
It’s pointless to look at it from an hourly perspective. Doing Otr you’re always away from home and on the job. But you can calculate time by the miles and an average speed of 70mph
